*REVIEW FOR CATERING* I enjoyed answering back to coworkers when they asked me, "What's for lunch?" "What's For Lunch". But, I enjoyed it even more when my coworkers said, "What's for Lunch is my new favorite pick"! We had the Beef Tips, Grilled Mango Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Stuffed Portobello. The Grilled Chicken was HUUGGEEE and unfortunately, not as moist or marinated or as juicy as what I hoped it would be. The Beef Tips, however, WERE THE TALK OF THE TOWN. The Beef Tips were perfectly cooked, it tasted like mini roast beef chunks and was perfectly seasoned all the way through. Along with the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, these two combos saved the day! After having What's For Lunch at a work function 5 years ago, I hired them to do the catering for 40 people for a thank you luncheon for the staff at my mom's memory care facility this August. They called me back promptly, spent plenty of time talking to me about my options and their recommendations, and everything was a smooth experience from start to finish. They showed up on time, set up quickly, and the food was excellent and very well-received. Their Chicken Parmesan is delicious and we got another grilled chicken dish as well. Kevin and Jessica were very helpful, prompt to respond to my voice messages and they delivered right to our door. They took extra care in wearing a face mask, gloves and had our order packed, air tight, wrapped again with plastic and securely in bags stapled so well, it took some effort to open the bags. I have used What's for Lunch in the past with good results, so I decided to try them again. What a mistake! I ordered the baked potato bar and salad for 40 hungry people. After I set up everything, I realized that there was no salad dressing! I called the company and by the time they brought it, it was too late. I already had a breakfast order in for the next day, so I decided to keep it. It was delivered 15 min. too early, before I arrived, and left with some other department. We just had a school party catered by Kevin and couldn't be happier with the results. First of all we had a very tight budget and a specific food theme- camping! Kevin worked with us to have the most fun and adorable menu and stayed within our budget. We had the most incredible brisket Frito pie, mini hot dogs, Mac n cheese, salad and all the fixings. Guests raved about the food and there were no left overs, people went back for many servings which is rare at parties with so much going on. I contacted What's For Lunch to see if they could provide our 75 students, and 10 adults with a healthy dinner option for our Friday night dinner.
