Erik…read moreand Jake responded promptly to my request to charge the A/C, replace the battery and solve the check engine light issue in my 2008 Mustang. The work was completed quickly after I approved the costs via a phone call from Erik. I picked up my car and drove to the grocery store whereupon the check engine light came back on when I left, so I immediately returned to Tire Rama. Right away Jake had the car back in the shop and the mechanic looked for the code to no avail. Erik had gone for the day, and I agreed to schedule a return appointment. I was prepared for having to spend more money, but within just a few hours Erik called to say they had replaced the aftermarket O2 sensor from Napa with the more expensive sensor from Ford and after test driving, was confident the problem was resolved and there would be no charge. I am very pleased to have my Mustang running smoothly again and grateful for the excellent service from the crew at Tire Rama. I'll be returning to Erik at Tire Rama on Grand for all my automotive needs.

Yes, I suppose there are worse things, but at this particular time and place, it seemed to me to be the worst thing ever. Fortunately. though, it wasn't a weekend, was early in the day, the nearest tire shop was only a short distance (with not a gas station in site) and the nice gentleman was willing to check things out -- confirming the tire was just low on air and not leaking -- reinflating the tire and sending me on my way. And, despite the out of state license plates on that rental car, he wasn't even snarky about the "tourist". Small towns are the best.
