Excellent service, impressive integrity, great value! Erik and Jake responded promptly to my request to charge the A/C, replace the battery and solve the check engine light issue in my 2008 Mustang. The work was completed quickly after I approved the costs via a phone call from Erik. I picked up my car and drove to the grocery store whereupon the check engine light came back on when I left, so I immediately returned to Tire Rama. Right away Jake had the car back in the shop and the mechanic looked for the code to no avail. Erik had gone for the day, and I agreed to schedule a return appointment. I was prepared for having to spend more money, but within just a few hours Erik called to say they had replaced the aftermarket O2 sensor from Napa with the more expensive sensor from Ford and after test driving, was confident the problem was resolved and there would be no charge. I am very pleased to have my Mustang running smoothly again and grateful for the excellent service from the crew at Tire Rama. I'll be returning to Erik at Tire Rama on Grand for all my automotive needs. read more

9/10/24 Eric was so nice on phone, got me in right away my car was dangerous to drive. He was concerned for my safety & they were determined to find problem even when it was difficult. I started by shopping online on Friday 9/09/22. Found the tires I wanted and set an appointment for next weekend. Got a text from Erik within an hour letting me know that he could fit me in on Saturday 9/10 if I didn't want to wait. On Saturday morning he confirmed the tires so I headed down. He had me in and out in no time. The tire tech did a great job. My truck looks a lot better with bigger shoes. Will definitely come back when it's time for my daily driver to get new tires. Tire-Rama - Tires Near Me - Billings, Montana

On March 4th I went to the 1001 main location in billings. I had a slow leak in my front tire that needed to be fixed. I told them approximately where we saw it bubbling from spraying soapy water on it. When I returned to pick it up, he explained that it was a bad seal with the tire and rim and that this was a common thing. So, they took a grinder to the rim and fixed it. I again explained that I knew there were 2 holes in it and that I saw them. I even showed him a picture of the bubbles and tire from my phone. He acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. So, I paid for the repair and went back to work. Later that evening, 4 hours later, my tire pressure had gone from 35 lbs. down to 25 lbs. I called Tire Rama but they were closed. So, I drove back to work and called my son. He came and brought a patch kit and patched it and filled it up with air so I could get home. The next day I went back to Tire Rama and explained what had happened and told them I knew it had not been fixed the day before. So, I again left it and 1 hour later they called and said they had bad news. The hole in the tire was now too big to fix and I needed a new tire. Asked If I wanted them to put the donut on or if I would just want to buy the tires they quoted me on the day before. I explained that if they'd fixed it the day before the hole wouldn't have been too big had they fixed it right the first time. He stated that I must have picked up the 2 leaks between yesterday and today. I said ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I SAW THE 2 LEAKS! So not only did they ruin the 1 tire, the other 3 tires were now useless due to my car being all wheel drive. I now have to buy all 4 tires. I asked if the guy that fixed the tire the first time was new, and they said no we've all been here about the same And I said Well how could he have missed it when I could see it. Again, they asked me if I wanted them to put new tires on and they gave me a quote. Now why in the hell would I buy tires from a place that not only charged me to ruin my tire, and now have to buy all 4 new, but try to make me look stupid when I knew exactly where the leaks were. Very overpriced. Walmart was going to do mounting and balancing for $18. They did get the tires mounted but couldn't balance them. Brought 6 tires here to ONLY get balanced and they charged me $110. They didn't even have to do the hard part of mounting them. Ridiculous! read more

I have been buying tires at Tire Rama on 4th Ave, N in Billings since 1990. I went to this store today to get tires rebalanced because I had them rotated and balanced 2 weeks ago and have a vibration starting at 65 up to 80. I left the vehicle and ran some errands downtown and was gone about an hour and a half. When I returned they hadn't even started on it and I was told it would be a couple more hours. I took my keys and left. It seems like the service has been dropping for the last two years. My next set of tires will be purchased from another company. The only reason I will return to Tire Rama is for rotate and balance on the vehicles that still have their tires on. With Les Schwab and Discount tire now in town and several other choices for tires including Sam's Club and Costco you would think they would try harder. read more

My young grandson took his vehicle into to tire Rama for brake work then sent me a pic of his invoice I was pissed immedia was a salesman taking advantage of a naive young man and his Grandmother, whom helped him pay for it. They double billed him for duplicate labor operations and charged extravagant labor times for simple and quick labor operations. i worked for Tire Rama for 13 years and at that time never would we have purposely and knowingly ripped people off in this way. I went in after work to get my tire fixed, and I had gone in with the intent of replacing my back two tires. They were pretty busy but they were still super fast considering the circumstances, and very kind and polite. They were quick to get my tires balanced, but it didn't fix my wobble in the steering wheel so the knocked $10 off which was nice. The said I bad tie rod ends and a bad tire, quoted $310 for the work(not including tires). I did it myself for $29 in parts. Switched tires. And that didn't help. I wouldn't go back. They might be fine at selling and putting on tires, but not for anything else. read more

I stopped by Tire-Rama and they were able to get me in and on the road in time for my appointment with I was very appreciative of. Worst tire shop i have ever gone to all i needed was a flat repair i got there 5 min after they open asked how long to fix they said an hour and a half so i left it and came back 2 hrs later and they hadn't even pulled it in and started on it don't waste your money here and to top it off they charged $20 to fix it read more

This place has gotten me out of more than a few jams. Ive had several flat tires and they have towed my car and fixed my flat more than once. I always buy my tires and get my oil changes here, as well had them fix my check engine light. The staff is always helpful and pleasant as well as great service and very reasonable prices.
