Karrie took the time to explain two options to me: their most popular, the "virtual wallet," and free checking. PNC offers free checking accounts, but with a price: you have to have direct deposit. I was looking for a secondary account which wouldn't be receiving a steady, bi-weekly paycheck, so this option didn't work out for me. But basically as long as you have a J-O-B, PNC offers a solid option for free checking. The virtual wallet is a checking account combined with a short-term savings and a long term savings. This sounds a little too fancy and complex for me, my goal was to find something where I could deposit a few willy nilly profits from a home-party business (which has since FLOPPED). But this 3-in-1 account dealie is worth it if you like all your money in one place, but technically it's 3 places, so you won't blow Little Susie's college fund at the casino. The dealership offered us some good financing options, so I called Lukas back to let him know we needed to move quickly on the loan.
