She never hesitates to call back or answer requests promptly. She is also very kind and compassionate, she has a great bedside manner, which is not easy to find. She is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her. I have never had to wait long to see her, but she does not rush you out. The office staff is very professional and great at their positions. The front end is well organized which makes the visit flow well.

I had to 1 appt and they claim I canceled another because husbands appt was running late and he had no control. Trying to cancel appts and try to reschedule and somehow this did not meet their requirements. They fired me from the whole practice as I supposedly ruined the doctor patient relationship although I had never met him. I had not had to cancel in an emergency situation in the 3 years I had been treat by a PA. They sent me a bill. Since I was fired, they sent me a letter referring me to the 2 big hospitals in town.

Physicians are always an hour or more behind schedule. The office staff recently took 22 days to get a refill prescription to my pharmacy for medication that is necessary daily. Today I called because I need a sick visit and I was told that the next available appointment is September 20. That is almost a month from today. When I asked what patients were supposed to do about possible strep throat, which needs timely treatment so I can get an antibiotic, I was told to go to urgent care. This office is not providing a reasonable standard of medical care.

After a physical therapy session I came home and went right straight to bed.  I was exhausted and had the chills so I dressed out in sweats and zonked out for fifteen hours straight.  On Friday morning I went to take a shower and my wife Valerie yelped.  I was covered from head to toe with deep purple bruises (burns as it turned out). We jumped in the car and went straight to McLaren Hospital Emergency Room in Lansing. This is where the story becomes almost unbelievable. We walked in. Dr. Mary Hughes took one look and got me into enhanced care almost immediately. Dr. Hughes and her team started me on IVs, came up with a preliminary diagnosis (reaction to Meloxicam), and then arranged to send me by ambulance to the ICU at Butterworth Burn Center in Grand Rapids. It's now a week later. I'm on the mend. In my own mind I know I would have had really serious complications if it weren't for the terrific urgent care I got by the emergency team at McLaren. And then nobody EVER calls you back. I had an issue where all I needed was a doctor's note from him - called and left about 10 messages on both the nurse's and receptionist's voicemails. Never got a response. Ended up costing me $125 out of my pocket because he couldn't give me a simple doctor's note.

She basically wanted to get me off her back anyway necessary even lying and telling me it takes over 24 hours to get simple results back. The nurse practitioner doesn't address your problem and is rude as well. She told me I was too demanding for wanting results back in the same day. This group is too busy for you and they don't care about your well being. Even though I like my doctor there, I am not going to deal with the people of this office so I am going to another office all together.
