I have worked in the medical field for quite a while so Im pretty picky when it comes to who I see as my primary provide. Pa Nhia Yang-Murray has been a God send to myself and to my family. She never hesitates to call back or answer requests promptly. She is also very kind and compassionate, she has a great bedside manner, which is not easy to find. She is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her. I have never had to wait long to see her, but she does not rush you out. The office staff is very professional and great at their positions. The front end is well organized which makes the visit flow well. read more

Let me begin that I think staff does a great job. Lab on site as is xray. Had a good relationship until this year when my husband had back surgery , could drive and his schedule was erratic. I had to 1 appt and they claim I canceled another because husbands appt was running late and he had no control. Trying to cancel appts and try to reschedule and somehow this did not meet their requirements. They fired me from the whole practice as I supposedly ruined the doctor patient relationship although I had never met him. I had not had to cancel in an emergency situation in the 3 years I had been treat by a PA. They sent me a bill. Since I was fired, they sent me a letter referring me to the 2 big hospitals in town. read more

Worst doctors office in Lansing. Terrible scheduling. They schedule you and cancel you, takes forever to get in. Terrible attention to detail and bad follow up. I don't think the doctors are the problem but rather their whole factory medicine model of just cranking through a zillion Medicaid patients as many and as fast as possible. Two very good doctors (IMO) have left recently. Consider another practice if you can get in. read more

I see Jacqueline Lewis who is a PA. I rather have her any day then a regular Dr. Who only sees you for a few minutes. I have no complaints my PA is amazing and cares about my health she always goes above and beyond everything I see her, her medical assistant always return my calls and her receptionist Jake always make sure I am seen when needed ASAP. I have had been to other Dr.'s offices and I have never received the care I do when I see Jacqueline Lewis. I cannot speak for other staff or Providers but with the one's I have interacted with are amazing. I always recommend Jacqueline Lewis. read more

I saw a male Dr who's name is Dr. Mangan. I have literally never been so disappointed with a Dr in my life. Went in yesterday to address an issue I have. I saw him for the first time a few months ago as a new patient. He asked me if I needed a breast exam. Excuse me? Um, no. My obgyn does that. Then he discussed an issue I was having with a birth control, which I go to my obgyn for that. He then proceeded to tell me about "safe sex". Um, duh, I am married and it doesn't matter what me and my husband do. So I started to refer to Dr. Mangan as the "creepy dr". So I was a bit worried about the appointment I had yesterday as he made me really uncomfortable after sex issue from the previous appt. I go in yesterday and as usual, he didn't do crap. I was asking for a med to help quit smoking and no surprise, he said no. He said I would need to go to my psych for that as, according to Dr. Mangan, it can be a mind altering med. I explained that I have been on the med for smoking before and I did great until I was dating a smoker and back slid. I also explained that I was on the same meds for my other meds that delt with other issues, but of course not, Dr. Mangan I found out is a "Dr. Do nothing ". But didn't mind billing my insurance when literally I went in and he flat out said "no" to both issues.. there is literally no reason to bill my insurance when it lasted a few minutes and just said "no". I wouldn't go to this Dr if I had a hang nail. He said that I can sign a paper to allow him to coordinate with my psych. That was a huge hard NO, which is Dr. Mangans favorite word. Idk how he got a license. There is nothing more frustrating and disappointing as when u go to a Dr for help, and his only vocabulary is the word "No". I have no reason as to why I should go back as it's very clear he doesn't give a crap about helping me, or anyone else. I got to the point in the appointment after being told "NO" twice where I stood up, said "well. I guess I am all set" and walked out. It was a HUGE waste of my time and my life spent getting told NO twice. I have to work extra long hours at work to make up my time I missed for any of my apps. This Dr. Is definitely a waste of time as it's clear he won't help you anyway. I have never been treated so rudely by a medical practice. Jacqueline Lewis had never seen me before. she read over my chart. she said she needed to take an xray for a pinched nerve. sparrow hospital had already done one the week before. I told her I had a question. she cut me off and said only one. my question was when are you getting back to me about the X-ray. she said as soon as it's developed. after 3 days I called. her excuse for ordering it was, the insurance requires it before I can send you for an MRI. Well of course it wasn't a pinched nerve but never heard from her about more treatment. my appointment took 20 minutes she said, so she charged me an extra $37. These people run their office like they are herding cattle. Just in and out as fast as possible. read more

The worst doctor office in Lansing. Dr wert is terrible and strongly suggest to stay away. He's rude, arrogant and lacks any bed side manner. It's all a numbers game for this office. Review for Dr. Anthony Meier. My husband and i are patients of CIMA and have been for years. My husband was recently diasnosed and treated for a ruptured eardrum and after 4 days from our urgent care (not ER) visit he was not sure whether his existing symptoms were normal for healing or if we needed urgent medical care. We had an apmt scheduled for ENT but with inclement weather it was canceled. We needed medical advise and contacted the after hour PCP phone line where Dr. Meier answered. He hung up and called me directly from his personal cell phone and told me that i was calling him from the middle of nowhere at 9 pm trying to obtain medical advise that he was not willing to give and he had absolutely no idea why i thought it was okay to reach out to him about advise. He said he didn't know my husband or what he was dealing with and that he didn't even know why ENT canceled his appointment. i shared multiple times that it was due to the weather and we needed advise today since i'm not a doctor and know what to expect with what are consistent healing patterns with this diagnosis and if this is considered a risk to wait. He talked down on me, made me feel completely inconvenient, shamed me for even considering calling him and asked me multiple times "but why are you calling me specifically". i reached out to the same number we call to schedule routine visits and it was connected to him so why he was so confused for how this call was routed is beside me. My 7 year old heard the call as it was on speaker and he asked why the doctor didn't want to help and why he kept saying "you're calling me from the middle of no where". I have never been talked to by a medical professional this way and i'm so taken aback by why this escalated to where it did. I told him i wasn't sure where to start or what to do, i had no idea what to expect for this type of diagnosis and he did not address any of my concerns on behalf of my husbands health. I was polite, appreciative and detailed with him so that i could find a solution until it escalated to him talking down on me. I still was not rude, I was ultimately confused and extremely embarrassed. Now I understand why he called me from his personal cell phone because he knew he was off the record and talked down to me. read more

Office staff, doctor's assistant is terrible. It took the months to get my Diabetic Supplies. I had to continuously call the doctors office. The doctor's said they would send them n a prescription after my doctor's appointment. I went to the pharmacy to pick it up and the prescription had not been called in. I found out later the doctor had forgotten to call in my much needed medicine. The CIMA staff can be quite incompetent at times. It took another week for me to get that medicine. I'm switching my PCP because the staff doesn't provide for the patient. read more

I have never had such an awful experience with a doctor's office or any other business for that matter. A close friend recommended Dr. Amit Ghose and I sought him out specifically for my psychiatric and primary care needs. I spent three months checking in to see if he was able to take me on as a new patient and was eventually told he was willing to accept me as his patient and I scheduled an appointment. When I showed up, I was told that I would not be seeing Dr. Ghose, I would be seeing a Nurse Practitioner named Adam Farnum. This threw me completely off-guard because every time I had called I had specifically requested Dr. Ghose and when they finally accepted me as a patient they told me Dr. Ghose would be the one taking over my health care. At this point, the receptionist acted very annoyed that I wanted to see the doctor that I had made an appointment with. Having had already taken off work to come into the office, I reluctantly saw Adam Farnum that day. After contemplating the experience, I called the following day and explained that I had been misled and treated rudely and no longer wished to receive health care from their medical practice. Had that been the end of it, I would not be writing this review today. I have now received a bill for $150 even though I have Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance which is accepted by their practice. I called my insurance company explaining the situation and they thought this was very strange that I should be paying $150 out of pocket so they called Capital Internal Medicine to sort out the billing issue. After talking to Capital Internal Medicine, my insurance provider told me that because of the way Adam Farnum billed it, I was still responsible for $150. She even said that they could rebill it in a way that my insurance would cover it but REFUSED TO DO SO. I have no idea why a new patient visit where I basically made a simple introduction and no medical procedures or tests were performed would result in me having to pay $150 when I have very good health insurance. Adam even said during the visit "the first appointment is basically a meet and greet"... My gut feeling is they are intentionally making me pay out of pocket because they are upset that I did not stay with their practice. I can't imagine any other reason they would refuse to rebill my SINGLE APPOINTMENT in a way that my insurance would cover it. read more

This place is horrible. Don't even bother attempting to schedule with them. I contacted my insurance for a list of PCP accepting new patients and was given their number. I called and left a message with my insurance info asking if they were accepting patients. Someone called to gather my information and pass it to a Dr. for approval. Mind you I told the lady I would see any Dr. they had at the location, but was made to pick one. I was then contacted three days later in the middle of my workday and told that the Dr. declined to see me as a patient. However, they refused to provide any information about why. So I have no idea if they are full and no longer accepting patients, if there is an issue with my insurance, if they just don't specialize in the area that is needed for my care. Absolutely nothing. When I asked for more information I was told that it was policy. I think it is inconsiderate to not provide any information about why I was not accepted, considering this information could be helpful to me in finding another Dr. Save yourself the time and just don't even bother. read more

Doesn't accept the most fragile or needy patients - very picky & choosy, making sure they'll get their money.

Communication is horrible. Getting your prescription in a timely manner is a joke. 1st. call in a prescription. Leave your information on a voicemail. 3-5 days later, go pick up your prescription just to find out the Doctor hasn't sent it in yet. Call doctors office just to leave another message. 2-3 days later, still no prescription and no call back. This has happened on 2 separate occasions. I don't recommend this office at all. read more
