My favorite place for oil change & tire rotation. Easy to set up appointments online. Drive inside the service department and they're ready to go. Nice area to sit, relax, watch tv or work online while vehicle is being serviced. If there's a problem or something needs attention I'm notified right away and can get it fixed, like my one passenger side wiper blade that was torn. My paperwork shows everything was checked over so I know how my tires and brakes are. Very happy with staff and service to my vehicle. read more

I had my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax towed to Wheelers in Abbotsford on March 30, 2019 because I believed there was water in the fuel line (based on the message I was getting on the Driver Information Center). I had changed my fuel filter that day and after driving 1-1/2 miles, it died and the "Water in Fuel" message was permanently on. I spoke with the service center in Marshfield before having it towed because in the past the Abbotsford location did not have diesel mechanics. I was assured that they had diesel mechanics there and that they could fix my truck for me at that location. I received a call from the mechanic (I am purposefully withholding his name as a courtesy) that when the old fuel filter was taken off, one of the seals was stuck in there, so there were two seals and that was causing air to get in the fuel lines and that was why my truck was dying. That sounded reasonable, so I asked him about the "Water in Fuel" message. He stated that the message is still on, so they just disconnected the sensor and I won't get the message any more. He stated that there was no water in the fuel, so it's OK. I asked him how he could be sure there was no water in the fuel when the brand new sensor that I just bought at NAPA and installed with the fuel filter two days previous still indicated water in the fuel. He said that they looked at the fuel in the filter and there was no water in it, because you would be able to see it. So, for $225 they replaced the fuel filter with a "genuine GM part" and were going to have me drive my truck with the sensor disconnected. Keep in mind that if there IS water in the fuel, it can cause catastrophic engine failure! I spoke with some other mechanic friends to confirm this. I then called the mechanic back and advised that I was not comfortable driving my truck with the sensor disconnected, and that they should not be sending it home with me with the sensor disconnected as their fix. This issue could potentially destroy the engine. He stated that because I had just bought the sensor and put it on myself, that he assumed I would want to replace it. Because this is such a bad situation, I did not even want to drive the truck 8 miles to my home. I cannot afford to have my engine destroyed because they decided to simply unplug the sensor so the warning light is not on any more! I do not understand why they thought I would want to replace it myself and not fix my truck properly. It was a lousy $40 part that I could return after it was replaced if it was the sensor that was bad. I advised the mechanic of my discussion with the service person in Marshfield and further advised that if they are not capable of handling my truck because it's a diesel, then they need to have a diesel mechanic from Marshfield come to Abbotsford to look at it. He then asked me if I wanted him to order the GM sensor and put it on. I stated that yes, I wanted that done so we know for sure if it was a bad sensor or there is some other problem. When I went to pick up my truck today, on April 2, 2019, I immediately looked it over to see if they had actually replaced and plugged in the sensor and they did. It was agreed that they would not charge me labor for installing it. However, apparently, they don't even have the most basic of parts, because they did not even have any of the little "clips" or whatever they are called to put the fender wall back on. I told him I would bring them, because I just bought a bunch of them and they could put it back on for me. I handed the mechanic the little clip things for the fender wall. He looked at them like he had no idea what they were. I said, "so you can put the fender wall back on." His response was "Oh, uhm, we don't have time to do that now." Seriously? I just gave a very disgruntled sigh and said fine, I'll do it myself. They simply left it in the bed of my truck for me to put back on. THEY COULDN'T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO PUT MY TRUCK BACK TOGETHER PROPERLY!! WHO DOES THAT????? I am absolutely horrified that the Wheeler's dealership in Abbotsford felt it was acceptable to return my truck to me with the sensor simply unplugged so that the warning message is no longer visible. That warning is to prevent potentially catastrophic engine failure! I'm also completely disgusted that they could not even be bothered to put my truck back together properly. This is the second time in less than two weeks that my family has been completely and utterly disgusted by the way we were treated at a Wheeler's dealership. This is not just a coincidence. Obviously, this is standard operating procedure for Wheeler's dealerships. read more

I would not by another vehicle from Wheelers in Marshfield. They advised a price for a vehicle online, we went there, feel in love with the vehicle, when I questioned the price because the price on vehicle and the one on line was different, we were told they always do that. We decided to take it but it had to go through inspection so we needed to come back. They called us 2 days later and said there was a mistake and the price online was wrong and if we still wanted it we had to pay the price in the window plus of course all the extras. I had previously written a negative review about Wheelers GM in Marshfield. The management at Wheelers saw my review and took action right away. I received a phone call apologizing about the experience that I had with their business. They then went above and beyond to rectify the situation including bringing a car to Wausau for to me to drive while my vehicle was being detailed and then brought back to me. Along with this they also filled my fuel tank and provided me with a certificate for a free oil change and tire rotation. Chris, the man who brought me the loaner car and delivered my car back to me was the sincerest man I've dealt with and you could truly tell he was sorry for the situation that had happened. Randy, the general manager who called me to set everything up was also very sincere and helpful. When Chris delivered my car back to me, he had informed me that Dan Wheeler himself had gone over every inch of my vehicle before it was delivered back to me. I appreciate everything that Wheelers has done to make sure that this vehicle sale was more than just money in their bank and to show that they truly care about their consumers and how they run their business. read more

Had nothing but problems with them, would give them 0 stars of possible. They brought a car in when I was purchasing a vehicle that was a more expensive model, and when I asked for the car I had specs for, they "did not have it in stock" the same week. They have increased the oil change fee over the board stated price, watch your receipts. They installed tires wrong so they were so unevenly worn all 4 had to be replaced at 17k miles (80k rated;) they did not stand by their work and made me purchase 2 of them 4 months after buying and blamed my driving (original tires did not have this problem for 60k miles.) Awful experience, will never return. read more

How do I speak to a manager? The (lack of) customer service is horrendous. Wheelers changed our oil and did a multipoint inspection on Friday evening. By the time we left Medford the check engine light came on. I called them and was told they couldn't get us back in until Wednesday. After complaining they told us they could fit us in on Tuesday. Now my husband drove the hour there, they've had it for over an hour, and told him it's an oil pressure problem "but need more time to figure it out", so want him to drive HOME (another hour) and to bring it back later next week. Seriously??? So the oil pressure is messed up right after Wheelers does an oil change, and you won't FIX the problem? If he drives it like that for another week and the engine blows up, will Wheelers be held accountable? The truck in question is a 2014 Chevy Silverado that we BOUGHT from Wheelers just 2 years ago. The least they could do is send him home with a loaner, and keep his truck there until they have time to look at it. They told him that the oil pressure keeps spiking, which means "it's either high or low", and that it could be a sign of a "bigger problem". Then they told him his new appt is NEXT week, and to come back then. We both purchased new vehicles from you in the past 2 years, and THIS is how we are being treated? We have gone there for every recall, every oil change, and given you our business for over 2 years. Over $53000 on vehicles and hundreds of dollars for oil changes and this is how you repay us? read more

Ok, phoned, spoke with owner Dan Wheeler requested vin & tire code, & he assured me the tires had been replaced. Phoned again with more questions, spoke with Trent who again assured me tires were new, 2nd lie, I looked up code - they were original. He kept talking & said didn't think they could go down on price as they just got rv in on trade on Friday (this is Tuesday) 3rd lie, as it was listed a month ago. Connie at the body shop was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable, took her time with you and didn't make you feel rushed. I needed a loaner car and really didn't want something that I was afraid to drive for safety reasons. To my surprise, I was given a 2016 Z71 Pickup!! That was great, as I dropped off a nice car and didn't want to be inconvenienced by driving a 'death trap' for a vehicle. Everyone that I had to deal with was respectful, courteous, kind, smiling and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Lastly, I have to remark on the cleanliness of the dealership...it was AMAZING!!
