When you arrive on the farm, you'll park in a field and even as you walk up to buy tickets, there are people in costumes scaring you. It starts right away. Once you buy tickets, you'll join the line to enter. This may possibly be the most entertaining line you'll wait in. Be sure to use the porta potty before getting in line, because you'll probably be waiting for a bit. During the line, there are many spooky scary sounds playing, as well as screams for the guests going through the haunted farm. There are also staff in costumes there making it scary. The Haunted Farm is three parts (or it was when I went in the past). First is the haunted forest, then the haunted house, and then a hayride. My first visit to the haunted forest scared the crap out of me. There was a part with a werewolf figure in a strobe light that gave me a good scare for sure. There really is nothing like the adrenaline rush of being horrified (especially when deep down you actually know that you're totally safe). After walking yourself through the haunted forest, you enter the house. There is some serious TLC put into making this really, really cool. Each room has a different theme and story. One of the scariest for me was the demented dentist, geesh! The rooms range from the butcher shop to the neon clowns. As my friends and I walked through the house, we held hands creating a chain to keep each other safe, haha! The last part of the experience is the hayride which is the least scary to me but there are parts when creepy people come out of the field, jump on the hayride and get within inches of your face. So yeah, that's also scary. I feel like I just used the word 'scary' 50 times. I need to come up with some better words (it's 6am, give me a break) but my point is that this Haunted Farm is really freakin' cool and such a fun way to spend an October fall evening.

The decor is legit, the actors are on point (scaring the crap outta me and literally running full speed out of the exit!!) As I stood in line, I watched them walk past all the men and old women and go straight for the little girls and stroke their hair and put their hands on them. I understand that's the hands-on experience, but it's very weird when it's obviously only directed towards one group of people. I'm not sure hugging and caressing little girls is part of the house experience but it's horrifying for sure. Gross.

Great Haunted House Fun!…read more This is a really great haunted house! We like it so much we drive 2 hours each way to go a few times in a night. We actually made it 7 times through the attraction last night! FYI: Get season passes you so you can go more than once AND enjoy the Christmas haunted house and other holiday haunted houses. I think it's 5-6 times a year! We opted for fast passes too since we like to go more than once! This crew does a really good job with some great actors putting in good effort and taking time outside for photo ops while you are waiting. Screw Hand: This "HOSTEL" movie style leather outfit with mask and screw arm found the right actor to wear it. He has a tattooed snake from arms across back. He is very interactive with everyone. Pickles: the scary guy with a shovel wins for creepiest creature outside in the lines he even has theatrical scary eyes and speaking shovel or shoes. He is pretty interactive stalking around and sneaking up to people in crowds. Carrot Fingers was cool outside walking around taking pictures. This creature stealthily roams the lines and doing photo ops. Pumpkin Girl: My son absolutely loves the pumpkin girl, she took the time to take multiple pictures with my son as he was so excited each time she came by. This creature really makes her rounds all over even at time dancing around. Outdoor Staff: everyone was great. People are friendly and fun. They really have a good crew of people who seem to be having fun. The Attorney: He is funny and gives you a funny intro liability waiver speech. Door Characters: Friendly and good story intros. They get you primed for your tour. Dr. Blinken: he is your entry point and does a great job being a mono toned robot like humanoid who brings you into the factory and decontaminates you. Red Eyes: He is one of the first characters. Red eyes and a hawk mask with a violin bow screeching on a metal thing. Girl in black on the bed with metallic ball fingers: She did a great job and our first time here she was the one who got me the best as I didn't see her at all until she burst out so fast. I laughed really good since I'm hard to scare! Good job! Caged Zombies: They are a cool section with 4-5 actors doing different noises and reaching through the bars. This was a favorite section for sure. NOT to miss mentioning the wild screaming girl right before who jumps out from behind a curtain. She is just before the zombies. That girl has a great scream! I don't know how she can do that great of a scream all night! I like the animatronics, the electrocuted man is a good one, zombie from the ceiling is also a good gotcha moment. The werewolves are cool, could be louder for a bigger fright but cool. The dollhouse pop out is a really good one. The pumpkin king is huge with a surprise animatronic also. The dragon is the scariest according to my son, he somehow thought it was real each time! There is a T-Rex style dinosaur too that's cool and surpassing! The sliding knees guy: this guy really gets you every time. He runs down the hall and slides on his knees when you turn the corner. That really takes some effort and a younger persons knees! The blonde cult leader girl: She was a cool and friendly section with funny comments. She was engaging and fun. The necromancer girl: She had a fun story and zombie she brings to life. She sends you on your way to be sacrificed. She was very interactive. The chainsaw guys: at the end are a great finale. We loved seeing how terrified people would get and cringe up as they searched for a way out of the foggy smoke. The insane asylum crazy person really does a realistic job. The bone sticking out of head guy: He got us good on one trip through. If I forgot to mention any others it's because I'm still tired and there is so much to remember! This is around a 30 minute tour or so. All in all a great job. It stinks some people made bad reviews about stuff that doesn't make sense. So I made a good review with real details. My hubby and I are into real paranormal so we love a good fun haunted house to get our scare on too. We got there about 7:35 and we didn't get in till 8:25 so it was a long, LONG wait outside in the cold. Especially because each group of 2 or 4 was 5 minutes apart. I'd suggest that they add some heaters next year. But it was so worth the wait. I think we were inside for over 20 minutes. The decorations were superb and the actors were great. For $20 a person we really had a great date night. We'll definitely be back next year. It was awesome.
