I had been in contact with Gerry's and they were able to have the make of sax I wanted available at the annual Saxophone Festival up at Amherst last weekend. This required that they contact the Conn-Selmer rep to make sure instruments were available. I went to the festival and found that they had an abundance of instruments to try, but unfortunately, things were hectic with my son and I wasn't able to spend much time with the instrument I had my eye on. So at their invitation I came to the store today where they set me up in a practice room. The sax-- a Yanagisawa TWO10-- played even better than I had hoped. The price was very competitive with prices from online instrument sellers. Some of the negative reviews I have read here simply do not jib with my experience. I stumbled upon Gerry's about two years ago on my way home from Amherst, and every time I've been there the experience has been good. I will surely take the new sax back to Gerry's for periodic maintenance and for any repairs that may be needed.

We were provided with a detailed list of parts and repairs that were done. The cost was very fair for both parts and labor. We also needed a new clarinet case to replace the hard case. Although we considered buying a new one, we were also shown a previously owned soft case which was in excellent condition so we decided to purchase it. Overall, a great experience at Gerry's Music Shop!

I am amazed with how much he has progressed over the years. Jeremy has a very personable and patient way about him that is extremely motivating for my son. He forms a genuine relationship with his students explaining the why behind fingerings and techniques. My son enjoys his lessons, the methodical way of teaching, and conversations with Jeremy. The music my son is able to play and his musical knowledge makes me very proud as a parent. What is most impressive is that Jeremy has given my son a sense of confidence that he never would have had before and installed in him a love for playing guitar that will carry with him for many years to come.
