While she was working on my hands, she pulled and handled them in a way that felt impatient and rough. My mom and I were getting the exact same manicure at the same time, so I could clearly see the difference in service. Her technician was still massaging her hands while Lilian had already stopped mine after only about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per hand and was trying to move on to polishing my nails. Because I noticed how quickly she stopped, I checked the time on my phone. When I brought it to her attention that the service included an 8-minute massage, her attitude changed immediately. She became upset and said, "Fine, fine, fine," grabbed my arm, and continued the massage in an irritated and aggressive manner. At that point, I no longer wanted her touching me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly felt that the interaction had become hostile. No customer should feel intimidated or treated disrespectfully for simply asking to receive the service they paid for. I want to make it clear that the owners and the other young woman working there were very nice and welcoming. My complaint is specifically about my experience with this technician. I came here to relax and enjoy time with my family, not to leave feeling stressed and upset. I am also seriously concerned about the cleanliness and sanitation practices I personally observed at her station. I hope management takes this complaint seriously, addresses the customer-service and sanitation concerns, and ensures that other customers do not have a similar experience. First, I called ahead to ask about the price for a service I wanted, and they gave me one price over the phone. But as soon as I got there, suddenly it was a different price. I don't know what they were trying to pull, but why give false information over the phone and then expect me to pay more in person? Very unprofessional. That was the first red flag. Anyway, she still starts doing the service, and once we go to the back, I notice she's doing something I've literally never seen before. I kept communicating with her like, "Hey, I specifically asked for a wax, nothing else." But she kept saying, "Oh no, this is how we do it," so I'm trying to trust her and give her the benefit of the doubt. After the service, I honestly still wasn't happy. And it's not like I stayed quiet either, I was communicating the whole time and telling her exactly what I was uncomfortable with. But it felt like she wasn't even trying to hear me out because she would just start speaking in her language instead. Then when it was time to pay, she starts making fun of me to her coworker. I could tell by the energy and the laughing that it was about how I was paying because I used some change and the rest on my card. Like... you're still getting paid regardless, so what's funny? I even spoke up about that too and said there was no reason to make fun of it. Then she started acting like, "Oh no no no," trying to play it off like I didn't know what was going on. Overall, I will never spend another dime at this place. The environment was rude, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. They don't listen to what you ask for, talk about you right in front of your face in another language, and clearly don't care about customer service at all. If that's the type of vibe you like being around, then this is the perfect place for you.
