Current resident here. Unfortunately, the experience over the last year and a half has gone…read moredownhill significantly. When I first moved in, this was genuinely a lovely place to live, but the current state of the property and management response has left me extremely disappointed. There are constant hidden fees, and community features are frequently broken or out of service. The front call box is regularly down, and security concerns have been a major issue. Someone entered the property and drilled a hole into my truck's gas tank, and I later found out the security cameras were not operational at the time. The only response I received from management was essentially "sorry for your luck." Since then, I've also had neighbors shooting bows and arrows that landed on my balcony and broke my flower pots, and I've had packages opened or tampered with by other residents. I've attempted multiple times to escalate concerns and contact IDM directly, but you just end up stuck in a call tree with no real resolution or accountability. The only "apology" I've ever received for these issues was four car wash vouchers I can't even use. I've lived here longer than most of the current management staff, and it's frustrating watching a place that once felt welcoming become such a negative experience. I truly hope things turn around, because this property has potential and I love Ridgefield

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! It was a decent (albeit poorly built) complex 5 years ago, but the management…read morehas changed drastically. Acero has moved onto their next fast build faux luxury living space. The overall upkeep is vanishing, along with safety. Common areas like stairwells are never cleaned or maintained. I spent 5 years there and they really planned to stretch out the life of their cheap carpet to another owner, or at least they charged me as if this was the plan. Their carpet beetle infestation alone should require them to replace it more routinely. If you do choose to live here, do not expect to get your security deposit back...they have to offset all the evictions they're seeing. They also broke the law waiting 31 days to even tell me they found a way to charge me more money. They then immediately began harassing me about collections so I couldn't even seek legal help. Also don't expect any leniency on rent if your plans to leave get delayed. A top floor apartment serves no purpose when the construction is so cheap you hear every conversation beneath you. Assigned parking is great to have, but not when spots are so tight you cannot get in or out of your car.

We moved here sight unseen & were glad it turned out to be in our favor. A great area close to the…read morefreeway entrances & quiet. Unlike other reviews, our place was clean & we didn't have anything wrong upon move in besides the seal on the backdoor which got fixed before we even officially moved our stuff in. We were lucky that we lived on the side that had more parking & near our mailbox so that was never a problem. Lived here for 3 years & although we loved it things had changed from when we first moved in. We were targeted twice. Once for smoking, which we don't smoke. The person below us smoked on his patio & in his car which he parked right in front of the apartment. I mentioned this to management & I don't think anything was done because it went on for as long as we lived there. Secondly, we got an email about having a gas tank for our grill. We got rid our ours, yet there were many others who still had out on their patio/balconies as well. Clearly no fines or warning were given to them, otherwise they would've gotten rid of theirs too. Another thing was many dog owners did not clean up after their dog. I'd step in poop almost weekly especially during the colder/rainier months. But for all if us who did pick up theirs, which don't get me wrong there were a good amount that did because those trash cans filled up pretty quick. However they'd stay full for days, sometimes over a week. To the point where there are even piles of bags on the grass. Move in & move out was very seamless & management was always nice when we had questions they were always quick to answer. It just seemed like the longer we were there, the more rules there were. Like how we could no longer get big packages at the apartment. We'd have to go to main post office to get them. Besides that, we loved our place & our dog enjoyed meeting all the other dogs that lived in the complex.

Management is incompetent to say the least. Parking is a nightmare if you have more than one car or…read moreguests. Once, there was a car parked in my spot and the manager was still in office so I asked him to tow, but he was technically "off duty" and asked me to call a patrol service. The patrol service said they absolutely did not do the towing or call to tow. I relayed this to the manager but he interrupted me and didn't believe me. I had him call the patrol people himself and I didn't hear back. It would have taken him 2 minutes of DOING HIS job rather than me 20 minutes to figure out this clusterf*ck of back and forth. The trash dumpsters are also a mess. There are people who can't walk 2 feet to throw their trash in the dumpster and choose to just throw it on the ground blocking the pathway. Lazy. There are dog owners who let their dogs poop in the large private field owned by the cemetery and not pick after them. Irresponsible. The original management company was night and day compared to the current one. Don't move here, it's expensive and not worth the nightmare of management and the community here. No personal responsibility, no respect.

As I wrote here before we reserved HH apartment online for 7 months with future extension and we asked about quite and light apartment. As result- it's not quite at all as they have noisy air conditioning system. All these systems are very old, noisy and located just near the bedrooms. The buildings are very old and furniture is all covered with scratches. One door was damaged and and we had been waiting for 4 months till it was changed. The storeroom smelled with a dog urine it was nor possible to use it for 5 months. During this time I tried all traditional ways to get rid of this smell. But why the community managers provided this apartment for living without solving all the issues? Why we had to wait during 5 months and breath this smells? When it was snowing in January nobody ever cleared the snow on the sidewalks in the community and it was absolutely impossible to go our as the ice was everywhere. As result when the door was changed and the smell dissappeared we got a renewal letter from the community manager. And it is unbelievable but they increased price from $1900 to $2799 of early renewal and to $2 833 if we want to think more than 1 month. It's 45% increase!!! It's absolutely dishonestly. Where do they see this price increase in USA? As I understand they get you as a client and then when you moved with all your staff, use to the area they increase price dramatically. I don't trust these people any more. I want to warn everybody to be careful and avoid this community.
