They paid very close attention to the details of our vision for our wedding day, were eager to lend super helpful advice, and truly advocated for us when communicating with different vendors throughout the 8 months of planning. Their booking package comes with so many inclusions; there's no need to track down rental tables, table linens, bartenders, recommended vendors, or a bunch of extra hands to help out on wedding day - they had all of these taken care of AND MORE! The beauty and accommodations of the venue & land surrounding the venue were just a cherry on top of the incredible service they provided to us. We heard all night long that it was the most beautiful venue our guests had ever been to, and got just as many compliments on the quality of the staff. They're wonderful and show a ton of integrity. (For example, one of our guests left their watch at the venue. Instead of making anyone drive to the venue to get it, they offered to ship it directly to us, no questions asked.) I attended a work event at the Nature Lodge today. The room we used was able to access a very large…read moregroup (over 50) comfortably. Large windows brought in plenty of natural light. There was a large rolling rack for coats by the door. The entrance was welcoming with large seasonal planter. Parking was convenient and seemed to manage our group. This past weekend I had the pleasure of officiating my little sister's wedding at this location…read more Overall, I was very impressed with the staff and with the location itself, but I was taken a bit by surprise when I first arrived. As it turns out, the property is literally the home of the staff. It is run by a husband and wife crew, along with relatives who pitch in to get the entire property ready for their events. They provide several packages at varying prices, and leave the option to use their home as a backup in the event of bad weather. Most of the food is made on-site, again by the family. My sister and her fiance had chosen a sunset wedding, so we started the event with dinner, a choice of baked chicken (huge portions) or BBQ ribs, along with some pastas, potatoes, salad, bread, and corn. We learned later that the BBQ was prepared by a local restaurant, which was ok because the ribs were fantastic! The ceremony itself was simple but elegant, with chairs set up and decorated in the wedding party's colors, as well as candles and some tree decorations to complete the backdrop. Afterward, cake was provided again by a local business owner, and it was also fantastic! Champagne was also provided as well as glassware. Finally, we were treated to a small, yet pleasant fireworks display that kept the kids entertained. The staff was great, very helpful and never in the way. Even the young boy who was there helping was very courteous and helpful to the guests. The owner is also a certified minister, in case your party does not have someone to officiate the event. I would recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced outdoor venue to take a look at Stouts' Serenity Acres! The staff is amazing and very friendly. The location is beautiful and well kept, with plenty of spots for your photographer to take great photos!

The tasting we had featured both reds and whites. Some I enjoyed, others weren't for me, but I was able to find great wines to take back for my husband and for my mother. The tasting was presented by one of the owners, and he had a vast knowledge of winemaking and also some great stories! I was not impressed by the labeling, but this seems to be very common among small local wineries. For me, the presentation of a wine bottle is important not only for gifting but when you are enjoying a bottle for yourself. The Vineyard also has a small gift shop with wine related items, some of which were rather unique. On the tour, I was surprised to see thick plastic containers for fermenting the wine rather than the traditional barrels. I learned more than I expected to about a process I know fairly well. Overall, this was a nice local vineyard with some good options. I can't say that I would necessarily drive there just to visit, but it's a nice stop on a ride through rural Iowa.

I have reserved The Space for my Girl Scout troop meetings, but will also be using this establishment for my kid's birthday parties and future wedding and baby showers for friends and family. The large room consists of 8 tables with white table clothes and 6 white chairs at each table. There is ample space between each table and multiple electric outlets for decor and party accessories. We rented the place in the evening and it was extremely well-lit with bright flourecent lights- which I really appreciated. The room also has an additional kitchen area with a sink, trash can, and fridge. There is also a large bathroom that is easily accessible for handicapped individuals. The bathroom was well-stocked and extremely clean. In fact the entire place was very clean; virtually spotless. I can't wait to use this business for future parties, because it's a blank space. I love that the walls and tables are white- so it can be easily decorated in virtually any theme. It's significantly more affordable than other party rooms in town and the room is just the right size for groups under 50 people. The owner waa extremely professional and had the place all set up when I arrived. They met me as soon as I pulled up and gave me a quick tour- then messaged me as I left to ensure I was satisfied with my experience. When I reserved and paid for the space the contract was promptly sent to me and was clear and easy to read and comprehend. There were no crazy rules; basically just make sure not to break anything (which is a super reasonable request). The payment process with a credit card was simple and all done online with ease. I am SO happy a place like this opened up in Quincy! This was so needed here. We enjoyed our first experience with The Space, and we'll be back again!
