Our daughter just turned two and is already recognizing shapes and letters. Cassy also has a "parents night out" once a month where you can leave your kid there until 10 pm. This weekend Cassy and her husband Woody took our daughter to the pumpkin patch and she had so much fun. She is dressed and ready to go first thing in the morning and we never have to worry about her canceling on us. She understands that she is going to get sick and that pur jobs rely on her services. The curriculum is academically focused, and the teachers are kind and nurturing. There is an after-school program once a month, and the structured schedule is helping the children learn discipline and routine before starting school. My daughter loves preschool so much that she says the time there feels too short and wants to come even on weekends. What's truly remarkable is that, even though my daughter's first language isn't English, her English has significantly improved during the four morning classes at preschool. She can now communicate freely with her friends. This really demonstrates the quality of the curriculum. I hope more parents can know about this hidden gem in Tanasbourne. He dug in the garden, painted, baked bread, learned about different cultures, sang, banged drums, built forts, danced, tucked himself into the reading nook to explore books, played with the rabbits and other animals who were a big part of life in the school, and generally just loved being there! The teachers were loving, supportive, and gentle. They also helped children learn about community. Our son learned how to cooperate, value difference, and support a communal experience. A few years later I got my wish; when my son was 3 we enrolled him in this sweet, homey preschool. I cannot say enough good things about the teachers and director. Our son was a little delayed socially in some areas and the teachers gently, lovingly helped him to bloom. One of the hardest things I have had to do as a preschool teacher is to talk to parents about developmental delays or concerns, so when the director and teachers brought their concerns for our son to us, we so appreciated their kind and caring approach toward us as parents. It was discovered that our son had a vision disability which was treated with therapy. Because of their willingness to speak up, we were able to access resources early enough to ensure his having a successful year in kindergarten. As a professional in this business myself, I can say that this is a very special preschool. The space is beautiful, set up for children to play, imagine,make friends, create and explore. There is a sense of child busyness, the children are kept safe and well-nurtured. The expectations of the children are very age-appropriate and really prepared our son for kindergarten. As a parent, I valued their perspectives and how they worked to develop an empathetic parenting community. It was great for me, too, as a parent, to ask them for some guidance during some of those very trying times all parents experience. Overall, The Garden's Noise Preschool was a formative and very lovingly-remembered part of our son's childhood.

This meant my daughter had one instructor during the majority of the day and only 3 other infants max. We first enrolled in Feb/ March of 2014 when our daughter was just over 2 months old while I transitioned back to work part-time. 2) The day I met Miss Elizabeth, the primary infant instructor, I was sold. She is warm, calm and grounded. The Director at the time had worked there for I believe 16 or so years and now had his children attending which spoke volumes to us and still does. Our daughter has spent the last year growing with 3 other amazing children, only a month or so apart. Not to mention the few kiddos who are a little older that she watched grow up and has now joined as a "wobbler". The staff works extremely hard to be supportive of each other and it shows; they are truly a family. We do not think we could be more impressed by the dedication of Pattie and Darcy as they have been with Kids Campus for many years, (you can ask them how many... we know; yet you should inquire if you are interested). Kris was always welcoming and friendly on the earliest mornings and made it so easy that when we had to take our daughter in early there was no worries to be had. Mrs. Margarita has been the primary instructor for the "wobblers". She is so energetic, expressive and passionate about the children's growth, development and care. Kids Campus Tigard staff and children attending have been an extended part of our family for some time. We don't believe we could find a better experience anywhere else. The campus is kept clean during the day and cleaned in the evening- no harsh chemicals or smells. I have seen the teachers act appropriately when they handle children's outbursts or behavior; often talking to the children and asking them about their frustration(s) while separating them from other children to alleviate any disruptions. From the vivid and expressive way teacher Elizabeth reads at story time (which draws even the most energetic child to the rug), to the messy and wonderful different crafts the teachers provide.
