They protected my floors and put up dust protection. I was extremely pleased with the bathroom so I asked if they would do a second bathroom that I wanted a wall removed. We hired Randy to work on our Caledonia Forest property and had numerous issues with him. Delays over and over again, little to NO communication, horrible shoddy work that we had to go over and fix ourselves, and then charged us over $10,000 more than the original quote, after months of delays from the promised work. I paid him around $10,000 for tiles from Heritage tiles and he stole nearly half the tiles and refuses to pick up his phone or provide information on where these tiles are. After I called him yesterday, since he blew off my employee about the tiles and told us its "our" problem, and left a voicemail that he better refund the tiles or get it to us - he and 3 of his employees left us 1 star reviews on our Google page. THIS is how this man and his "company" treat local business owners? Months of delayed work, tens of thousands in over priced work not completed on time, steals OUR tile that we paid for, then leaves OUR business negative reviews? Unbelievable. I have an incredible builder now who is top notch. If you need anything done in Clarksville, hire Bruce with Saunders Construction. And what ever you do, don't hire a THIEF like Randy Whetsell and his company. Making up lies it took 8 months to pay. Your first original invoice was sent on 11/1. It hasn't even been 8 months. How convenient your price went up over $10K AFTER you were called out for your lack of communication and the terrible work of your team. I purchase my home in 2020 and have been trying to get it renovated since then. Every roadblock and obstacle one could imagine, I have dealt with trying to find a contractor to complete the job. My project is large, funded with an escrow account, and budget locked in back in 2020 so that complicated the process even more. Fast forward to Jan. 2022 after yet another contractor backed out at the last minute a Google search lead me to James and my world changed! He went through every step required by my escrow account quickly, regardless of how ridiculous some of the steps were. He gave solutions and options that fit the budget, and kept me in the loop on everything, even before work started. Fast forward a little more to April 2022 when work started and I'm in awe of how well his team worked together and every single person that entered my house was beyond respectful. Again James kept me in the loop on EVERYTHING. There is not a single thing to happen during my project that wasn't communicated with me. There were a few design options that needed to be changed/tweaked but I absolutely understand why- and the alternatives that James (Team) gave were better. We are in the final days and I am in love with my home, and I will actually miss having the team around because they are family now. I have been living in this house out of boxes since Nov. 2020, but as of July 2022, I will finally get to unpack my home.
