My hat.
Kevin P.

Overall, service was horrible. This lady who works at a cash register was just finished with a customer and as I walked up, she turned her head to say next person by the time she looked back around I was in front of her. She proceeds to tell me these people were waiting in line 4 people that was in line. I went to the back of the line as I proceeded to move to the front of the line. It's my turn. There was a customer who was standing in front of her register and decided to stand there as she finished helping the customer that she left before me. She proceeds to let the other customer who was not in the long line to proceed to the front. Let alone there was 10 people behind me. She let somebody else cut the front. I felt that was unfair that was not professional and as a black man wearing a Faith base hat who is a Christian and, I felt racially profile. If I ever return to this gas station, I will take a picture of this person and post it on here to let people know how rude she was disrespectful to her a customer and serving people with attitude. If you don't like your job, they find another one. In closing, I proceeded to tell one of the cashiers ladies that that lady was disrespectful to a customer and the lady said she'll proceed to talk to her. I really felt slight, and I hope that the company can do something about this Chevron, Las Vegas, Nevada we stick by our rules and regulation and one number one major rule is the customer is always right unless proven wrong.

Travel center is located right next to the whiskey Pete's casino, if staying at the casino and need something the store is right next door. There is a Starbucks and Qdoba store at this travel center, Krispy creme donuts, plenty of healthy snacks and drinks, lots of parking and the bathrooms are clean. The store sells beer and other beverages but no wine, the area to fill up is very spacious, gasoline prices are a bit high if you don't mind the price then is perfect or best to fill up in Vegas where is cheaper.

It is rare that I write a two star review for any establishment...even more rare that I write two in a row. This state border stop off should be avoided. The restrooms we atrocious, with splattered urine in most of the stalls. Filled restroom trash cans, and very expensive gas to boot. I'll skip this stop next time, and drive to the next gas station along the way. Dear Mr. Pete: please clean up your act.

You don't come here for a good deal on gas, you probably came here because you needed gas and didn't have much of a choice. I'm sorry. Atleast the inside is clean and well managed but one thing I was not able to find a Dairy Queen at all, I know because coming in to get a Dilly Bar was my primary focus and there was no DQ on the inside, it was a taco place now... Hmm,, yeah this place is just slightly okay and not worth anyone time.

This is a great stop. There are clean restrooms and showers. There is lots of snack options. There are a lot of clever Vegas souvenirs too.

Husband stopped in to grab a coffee and sandwich. No creamer for the coffee and charged me $12 for the sandwich. They just lost my business.

The station has definitely improved compared to how it used to be. Adding a Starbucks and Pinkbox Doughnuts was a great idea, and it gives travelers a couple of good food and coffee options without having to make another stop. My biggest complaint is that it always seems like several gas pumps are out of service, which creates unnecessary congestion. The parking lot is also pretty tight, so it can be difficult to find a place to park, especially when it's busy. If you're traveling during a three-day holiday weekend, be prepared to wait because this place gets packed. Planning ahead and filling up before you get here is probably the better option. Another downside is that with the nearby mall and several casinos now closed, this area has lost a lot of the activity and convenience it once had. It's still a decent place to stop if you need gas, coffee, or a restroom break, but it's no longer the convenient travel stop it used to be. Overall, it's an okay stop, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Though it appeared the owners, were quite active in regards to getting the location to run smoothly. Some hiccups included the pumps, and even diesel at the time. Diesel for example was out of order, and on another visit, pumping at a very very very very low rate (essentially out of service). Some noticeable yet disappointing visual construction yikes include poorly installed veener on the pillars near the pumps. I'm not sure who they hired to do that, but there was some noticeable low grade work done. On a positive note, it's the closest gas station to lytle creek, upon entrance and exit - though to keep the market competitive, just a little south more competition stations exist. So assuming you aren't on e, perhaps look at the cost of the other stations so that you could get the best value for your money. What makes this location unique is the many pumps (assuming they're all function upon your visit) the quick hot food available, liquor, and also presence where limited supply is in general serving the immediate neighborhood. I firmly believe that this location has potential - and I'm confident they can adjust as needed to stay competitive. I'll be sure to revise my review as more trips allow :)

Veterans Road service

Veteran's Road Service really came through for me and my new (to me) whip. I wish I could give them…read more100 stars! This is going to be a detailed and lengthy review. I recently purchased an expensive high performance vehicle. The first night I took my new whip out, I got a flat tire. I immediately parked my vehicle at the nearest gas station to inspect the damage to my tire. This was around 2300 hours, late at night. I found Veterans Road Service during a Google search. I called Veterans Road Service and explained my situation to Ander, the owner of the company. Ander gave me an estimated time of arrival and was at my location within the ETA he gave me. Ander removed the tire, inspected it, and decided he had to take it to a 24 hour tire shop to get it fixed safely. I told Ander okay, and I waited for him to return. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a call from Ander with some bad news. Ander had taken my tire to three different 24 hour tire shops, who all refused to patch my tire up due to safety and liability reasons. The tire shops saw the slit in my tire and didn't even bother to further inspect the damage before deciding it was unfixable. I told Ander I had an appointment to get my vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic the following day. It was incredibly important for me to make it to that appointment because I was only given a five day return window by the dealership I purchased my vehicle at. I did not want to keep my new whip if it was not found to be in excellent condition during the vehicle inspection. So there I was, concerned I would have to call a tow truck and possibly miss my vehicle inspection appointment. Ander returned to my location shortly after. He was aware of my situation and told me he had an idea to save me from waiting several hours on a Friday night for a tow truck to arrive. Plus, tow trucks are expensive! Ander again inspected the damage to my tire and removed a blade that was embedded in it. He dug a little deeper and concluded that he could apply a plug to the damaged area which would allow me to drive home safely. He assured me the plug would last long enough to get me home, and it could possibly last even longer. I gave Ander the okay and I watched as he applied the plug to the damaged area caused by the embedded blade. Ander double checked his work and made sure there was no leaking air before mounting the tire back onto my vehicle. Once the tire was securely mounted and my car was off the jack, Ander again checked his work to make sure there was no leaking air. Ander assured me he was confident his work would last long enough to get me home safely. He advised me to drive home at a reasonable speed and wished me luck with my new business that I told him about. I also found out through our conversation that Ander was a military veteran and had served our country and his community for years. I thanked Ander for his work, paid for the service, drove my car home, and arrived safely. The following morning, I inspected my tire and found that Ander's work had in fact held up. I was able to make it to my inspection appointment, and my vehicle passed the inspection with flying colors. I was ecstatic! Ander messaged me that day to check up on me and make sure the work he performed on my tire lasted me through the night. Now that's customer service! Ander's work even held up an extra two days until the dealership could order a new tire and replace my damaged one. Ander's level of service is hard to come by, especially in the Roadside Service industry. He was able to make a shitty situation not so shitty for me, and I am confident enough to recommend his service to anyone I know. You can be assured that if you are ever in need of roadside assistance, Veterans Road Service will do the best they can to service your needs and make sure you get home safely. Thank you again Ander and Veterans Road Service! God bless...
