My girlfriend and I decided to spend the day thrifting, antiquing, and drinking wine, and what…read morebetter place than downtown Hopkins? The interior was super cute, and the space was much larger than we expected. I ordered the red wine flight while my friend chose the white flight. The reds were unique but delicious! It was fun taking a sip, guessing the tasting notes, then checking the informational card to see how close I was. We also split a charcuterie board, which had the perfect variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, and accompaniments to pair with the wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely eager to help us find wines we'd enjoy. There was also plenty of easy street parking just around the block. We'd definitely come back!

I enjoyed a weekend day outing here. Was in the mood for a winery but didn't feel like driving far,…read moreso we opted for a local wine room. Friendly service. Enjoyed the wine flight options and the tasting experience and info about wine. Feels clean, bright, and new, and the bathroom is nice. There's a room in back they activate for events. There was a small vendor sale in there. They also have cute merch, jewelry, and goods for sale. They're on the higher price end. They offer free coffee from the Nespresso machine which is a nice touch. They have their own wine shop next door that is kind of expensive. Buying a bottle in the winery and corking it to go is a more affordable option if you plan to drink it right away.

Which is to be expected but I didnt know. This place is showing its wear, especially where my friend stayed on the first floor. But I imagine that it to be expected. The positives- the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had really nice bedding. the temperature of the room was relatively easy to regulate. The negatives: I didnt realize there was no free breakfast- buffet only. This is not in the least helpful for someone who wants to eat quickly and get on the road with a dog. Also the coffee in the room was horrible. Many things were just showing their age. Had I not been doing this from the car, I could have researched this and seen that there was no breakfast and we could have chosen another spot. My fault perhaps, but we knew we couldnt make it comfortably back home. Personally I wouldn't choose a Hilton garden again to stay in. But I have to emphasize- the staff were super nice. EXCEPT being transferred to someone when I was done making the reservations for some sort of Hilton sales pitch- that was annoying AF!! Do better Hilton.

After a…read moresuper long shift of shoveling throwing salt bending over sore and stiff muscles, I was really looking forward to a relaxing pool and hot tub session. I guess not? Then I also find out that there is no ice machine that's functional on the second floor. Normally it's not a big deal but I just got done working a 25 1/2 hour shift. I really don't wanna go very far for my ice. Interesting enough I poked my head into the workout room and I see that one of the two machines still needs to be programmed. I'm starting to notice a trend. I also see on my check-in form that it says to check in with the receptionist to see if your reservation has breakfast included. A.k.a. it's not free!!!!!!! really Hilton???? I really like Hilton hotels and I think Paris does an awesome job with her role in daddy's chains, but I feel like she can splurge a little bit better yet fix a few things on this hotel! Even walking into the room it was big it was spacious. The bed were comfortable, but it just felt empty and cold. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I'm pretty sure I stayed in a comfort suites that was equally as nice and comparing a Hilton to a comfort sweeps should not be on equal playgrounds in my opinion. Oh also, why are the towels on a rack in the shower above the bathtub? Weird!
