My first impression of the building and studio was that it was a bit outdated and the inside of the studio looked older and less clean compared to many of the other studios I've visited. My girlfriend and I arrived about ten minutes earlier in hopes to get settled in and find a picture to paint. I was a bit disappointed to find that the studio was closed when we arrived. The instructor arrived about 5 minutes late for the start of class so it felt rushed getting the paints and everything set up for class. The canvases that were given to us were thin so I won't be able to hang this up unless I get it framed. This class gives you the freedom to choose what you want to paint opposed to everyone working on the same painting and the instructor goes step-by-step to guide you through the painting. As I am not a very artistic person, I found it to be a bit daunting having to paint the entire painting myself without specific guidance and step-by-step instructions. The instructor was funny and kept us entertained throughout the class. My friend and I still had an enjoyable girls night out but I really wish the studio was cleaner and the canvases were thicker and of better quality.

Finally, could invest into a small ice machine with a station for the byob. Maybe charge parties and extra dollar per person and include a bottle of water for each guest.

I loved relaxing here with co-workers in the evening, not to mention that view of the McKinney water tower from the patio at night cannot be beat. I highly recommend coming to see the unique artwork. My favorite piece was a large, canvas painting of "Woodstock '69," so as soon as I saw it, I had to take home the original before there were only prints available. The art is so affordable and better yet, when you purchase one you become an "artster," which comes with membership benefits. I can't wait for the next live music show and I am hoping to attend a paint party soon. I may even try to book this event space for my toddler's birthday party!

Most of…read moreus aren't very artsy, but Hope was amazing--her detailed guidance made a world of difference. My three-year-old niece joined us as well, and Hope was incredibly patient with her. At the end of the night, she even left extra supplies for my daughter and her friend to keep painting. You'll be surprised at what you can create with her expertise. We called after the suggested time after not hearing anything and were given a vague message saying it would be done soon and that the manager was out of town so things were backed up. Then, 6 weeks later we were told it was ready to be picked up. However once I arrived only 1 of the 3 painted pieces were there. I told the girl behind the counter that we were missing and she checked but couldn't locate them. I asked for the managers number and was denied and told to email... very disappointing experience that wasted time and money.
