Recently, I had the chance to stay at Moon River Ranch, and it was a great experience. The ranch is located near Waco, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite things about the ranch was getting to help with the animals. I've always loved animals, and it was great to get to spend some time working with them. The 3bedroom house was very clean and the rustic log cabin look made us feel like we were truly on a ranch. The safari ride was so fun and the animals were out and several came Up to the hummer we were riding in..the hayride was an experience as we soaked in the gorgeous sunset! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE, GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY THEY WILL SCAM YOU WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. Come to find out the restaurant does not offer wedding services. They claimed they could provide us with other options, but then tried to up charge us to provide the other options. We promptly asked for a refund from Everlasting Elopements after that. They said it would be 5-7 days to receive a refund of $1133 it has been well over a month and no refund. This is a major disappointment - people use services like Everlasting Elopements because they are on a budget, so when we are scammed out of such a large amount of money, it hurts.

When we brought these fundamental mistakes to their attention the next day, you'd think there would be an apology, perhaps a token of remorse? Nope...just weak excuses and a bad attitude.

Diane the proprietor was so helpful & made everything so easy. Theyve got two floors & a patio with gorgeous tall ceilings & chandeliers. We had a photo booth set up in the back shaded courtyard, which made it a popular hangout spot for everyone at one point. Diane has lots of decor & supplies up in her attic you can use for free! There was even parking across the street. My daughter was thrilled & everyone had a great time!
