Sadly, I was expecting to buy a cup of coffee on this chilly morning & all they had was tepid water in cheap thermos dispensers. I guess all the parents bringing their kids to pet the mini donks & alpacas will go without or drive home impaired. The kids will definitely go without. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like alcoholism & overpriced candles & stale cookies!! Save your fuel (or battery) & precious bodily energy & forego this rotten experience altogether. At least bring your own coffee, if you must saunter through.

You can find potting soil for cacti at Lowe's and other stores but I wanted to be sure I got the right dirt for my little plant. Desert Rose not only had mass-market soil but also their own formulation, which I bought. The shop is not large but is loaded with plants and various cacti-related goods. Check it out. I do recommend having a tarp to line the bed. especially if you have a textured bedliner because the smell will hang around. The smallest volume you can buy is about a small pick up truck bed full. But it was a lot less expensive than buying individual bags. Plus, you don't have all the plastic waste. You will need a shovel and a wheelbarrow to get it to the backyard!

And while I had heard of thatching, I'm not quite sure that I realized you did it to your lawn - thought this was something to do on the farm? Ultimately, we needed to thatch and aerate our lawn and this is the place to get the tools you need to do it. Run by the owner who is very knowledgable and has a sense of humor. That's the combination I'm looking for. Great customer service on the phone and in person. He walked us through the whole process, what we needed for what we wanted to do, how to use the equipment and helped load it into the car and strap it down. Equipment is well maintained and easy to use. Reasonable prices. They also have a landscaping business and while I did not inquire about the services, or pricing, I think they would be worth a look.
