The schnitzel was crispy and juicy and the mushroom gravy did its part to pull the dish together without overpowering it or making it bland. We visited on a Saturday evening, and were able to be seated right away. Our server was helpful, suggesting a dish for our picky toddler, and the food came out quickly. In the spirit of full disclosure, the house was not packed. We were one of 4 or 5 tables dining at the time. In addition, the service was excellent / a perfect counterpoint to the place we'd departed not a half an hour earlier. Just what we needed to restore our faith in dining out! Our server, Riley, was an absolute sweetheart..she kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. But the food...wow! Keep bringing your "A" game Applebees...we'll definitely be back to try other menu items. Side note: the way the staff treated some of the elderly patrons was impressive.
