Pool area was closed all weekend, even though when booking it said was open and that was a big reason we booked this hotel. There looked like mold on the shower head and on the tub. There was used plastic spoon, fork, and knife in a side table. The vent above the toilet was very dusty, not sure if cleaned. There was a chip in the side table. And the WiFi was where you have to go to a separate page to log in on your phone and you are unable to use any systems you bring in the WiFi. Tried to ask to pay for a soda and front desk said it was for higher members. Tried to use the vending machine instead and it was out of order. The shower bar for the curtain was off a little. Check out was at 12 and they called around 11 and 11:45 to remind you it was at 12. Do not disturb was on door at check out and around 11:30 we had a knock on the door from housekeeping. Felt a big pushy to leave before check out time. Breakfast was not mine or my husbands favorite. We ended up not eating much and going somewhere else to eat. They didn't refill the milk the first day when we came down and the second day the milk was a little warm. We have been in that hotel for the last week. We have not been accommodated at all. The door has a big crack in it where you can see out in the hall through the crack. If you do not put the latch on the door, the door will be open . There are German roaches inside of the room. My daughter asked them to change the room and instead they gave her 2cans of spray to spray the bugs . Breakfast was over at 9 o'clock through the week we had gotten there at 9:15 did not know it was over at nine. We asked for some milk and she told us we couldn't have any so we got two of the yogurt and she got mad.. And this was my best hotel. I always came here.

The front desk clerk says the place is nice. Get into room 105 and it's a disappointment. Curtains barely covered the windows, something was leaking from the ceiling, holes in the blankets. You can just tell it was a half ass cleaning job. Decided to tough it out for one night until...We spotted a bed bug and my sister had been bitten by the bed bugs. It was horrible. So I told the front clerk, he said he was unable to give me another room, keep in mind we were only there for a few hours. So I ask for my money back, he told me we had to wait til morning for the manager. Pissed we leave at 1am in the morning having to buy new clothes to wash our clothes that was in the room to ensure that we wouldn't carry bed bugs along our way. Then find somewhere to stay. Get there in the morning to inquiry about a refund. The lady said the manager wasn't there but she's like the manager but in the same breathe she was telling me as a manager why she couldn't give money back. She said Y'all People come here for a couple hours with your boyfriend and want your money back. I told her that wasn't the case. I just want to be treated like a paying customer. I ask her how would she feel. She told me to go to the hospital and let them tell me it's bed bugs. I ask was she going to pay for the hospital bill she said no. Then a man walk by there clearly had a tag on that said Peter and the business card has his name on there as the manager. She said no he's not the manager. Manager don't work on the weekend. To sum it up, I left there without my money back not even apology. Be careful who you spend your money with. Clearly she thought something negative because I was black. Surprised Wyndham has their name associated with this property; not even what Day's Inn standards…read moreused to be in my mind. We were held hostage basically by the hotel owner. We decided to check out because of the poor accommodations and were forced to pay for the next day, even though it was before the check-out deadline for that day. Don't ever book a Day's Inn reservation for more than a day until you have a chance to visit the property. We are still fighting with Day's Inn and Wyndham who evidently refuse to hold their property owners to basic standards. If you are staying in Thomson, GA, try somewhere else. If you are staying in Thomson, GA, there is a Hampton by Hilton across the street that looks new.
