I am a law abiding citizen and would never despute their rules, but I had wished to speak to the pharmacist so that in the future he could recomend to clients to search for the lotion's restrictions in the internet before spending almost $100.00.

A good shopping experience…read more The service at this location is wonderful because the staff are very friendly, polite, professional, and helpful. The service is amazing because whenever you go wait to check your items out with the staff member working at the desk, they get you in and out of the store quickly. The selection at this location is wide and there is a wide variety of items to choose from. The items on the shelves were also properly stocked which is very convenient since I found everything I wanted easily. The item quality at this location is good but the value is a bit pricey. The value is a bit over priced because some of the items in the store cost double the price of the items at the Dollarama next door. For the reasons that I have stated in this review, I highly recommend you visit this location for the wonderful service and the amazing staff and the wide variety of items to choose from and the great item quality.

So this Rexall is in the Holland Cross building across the street from Tunney's Pasture. It's small…read moreand dinky compared to most Rexalls and is primarily for the government workers who work at the government buildings at Tunney's Pasture (well, that is before this whole Covid Pandemic, most of those government workers are now working from home and I'm sure the businesses nearby are suffering as a result, this drugstore included). Anyway, not the best Rexall. Not a lot of selection, and feels a bit dated inside. But points for convenience if you work at Tunney's. No parking lot and street parking is a real pain in this part of town, so I think it's mostly for people who live and work in the area.

My daughter pointed out the sale sign said $4.99 yet the bag had a sticker on that said $5.00 off. There were two bags on the shelf and both had the $5.00 off sticker. I brought it to the counter my daughter and I sort of laughing. The cashier says he cannot scan it through at that price but called for a manager. The store was empty but this supervisor Dorothy showed up after a long wait. She actually snarled and said "no. You aren't getting it for that price. I can ring it up at the full price and you use the sticker or you pay the shelf price." She had the absolute worst face. I was completely taken aback by her demeanour. I hadn't even said anything yet and she came up basically growling. My daughter and I and the cashier were laughing and smiling before this beast came. Anyhow if you have an item on a shelf with a price and a clearance sticker on it you should abide by it. I go to other rexalls where the employees are wonderful.

This location of Bath and Body Works is in College Square. It's fairly large with a good selection…read more I love the hand soaps at Bath & Body Works. They smell great and they are always coming out with new scents. I like that the scent doesn't linger though. You get a nice olfactory experience while you're washing your hands but then it's gone. The scents are strong, so prolonged exposure to them does give me a headache, so I never use their body sprays/fragrances or room sprays. Even their hand sanitizers are too heavily scented for me and the scent stays on your hands for too long, so I always have to get the unscented ones, or they have these new "sport" ones that aren't objectionable to me, lol. Something I really love at Bath and Body Works is their cute hand sanitizer holders that have clips on them to clip into your purse, backpack, etc. They made these long before the Covid-19 Pandemic, but since then have come out with more styles, as they became more popular. I missed out on the French Fries one and their Popcorn one, but I managed to score their Pizza one. The only negative thing is they are a bit heavy and bulky, but so cute!! Lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot.

This location always seems to be organized and the same guy at the cash always waves hello and goodbye. A plus for me is it's also right in front of my bus stop. It's comparable in size to the locations outside of the downtown core. It has a clearance section towards the back of the store. There are also marked down items throughout the store. The store is brightly lit and although the space is oddly shaped, they make it work. Staff are courteous. Street parking only.

Even after I expressed discomfort with the brand, they kept pushing for that one single new product that had nothing to do with treating melasma. They steered me away from the one product I trusted and knew worked for me, insisting instead on something expensive that, in reality, does not treat melasma or dark spots. It became clear their goal was not to help but to push sales and meet their targets. I even overheard when I turned last minute, Amber one of the staff members bragging to her colleague about convincing me as if it were some sort of competition. I paid around $100 for a product that does absolutely nothing for my skin. When I tried to take time to check reviews and make an informed decision, they repeatedly interrupted and pressured me to buy immediately. To make matters worse, a senior staff member approached when they noticed me checking and promised gifts and samples with the purchase but when I paid, I never received them. This was manipulative and left me feeling taken advantage of, especially as someone who came in with limited product knowledge. Be warned: do your own research, and if you know what you want, go directly for it without relying on their "advice." The staff here care more about upselling than about customer needs, and they'll push whatever is most expensive not what actually works for your skin.
