At this stage Glenfield Family Doctors were at their old location inside the Pharmacy on the same road just a few numbers down to the left. Years on, I continue to visit Jocelyn for check up's and when I come down with the flu, and also bring my little 16 month old to visit her when he also gets a bug. I love the new location of 575 Glenfield, as they are situated inside a bungalow and it's very homely and bright. The reception waiting room has some great toys and games for my little toddler to amuse himself with while he waits his turn too which really helps ease the time. The doctors and nurses at Glenfield Family are a wonderful cheerful group of ladies, who are professional and experts in what they do. I am always well looked after in every respect of my health when I walk in the doors of this clinic. Thanks so much Glenfield Family!

Very shortly thereafter, Dr Ruoh Sim saw me. Even though it was the end of his shift, he heard me out on ALL my concerns and provided a solution for each one. I received a breathing treatment in the office, and the doctor gave me prescriptions before I left the office. Visit was 1 hour in total that included roughly 45 minutes of treatment time. Note: I am traveling from overseas, paid out of pocket, and had a flight scheduled for the following day. Dr Ruoh treated me with all of these factors in mind. Professional, kind, and thorough.

They are in fact located in a stand-alone former residential house just down the road from where we now are. Judging by the walks of life that have been asking about their whereabouts, they have a great local clientele and of course offer comprehensive medical service. Three GPs and a nurse are consulting from their (not so new) premises. I bet they love to see all of their regular clients finally walking through their door, perhaps not so many are late these days as hardly anyone pops in to ask anymore.

Whenever you make an appointment with RRMC, you may as well tack 30-50 minutes on to the end of the quoted time, because they are constantly late. Take a book (or maybe even a tent) for the waiting room; you're going to need it. That said, if you can get an appointment with Dr Phyll (I am not kidding), it's worth the wait. Being seen by Dr Phyll was one of the very best experiences with the medical profession I have ever had in my life. She is a wonderful doctor with a great presence and genuine care for her patients. Whenever I tussle with the idea of getting a new doctor, I'm reminded that she is the reason why I stay.

Unfortunately there is no longer a blood test lab attached to the building - this was one of its huge bonuses, but even so, it remains a trusty wee doctor's clinic to keep in mind! Dr. Julie Taylor was my doctor most of my life and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor. She's incredibly lovely and genuine, and absolutely dedicated to making sure you receive the health care you're after. Her locum doctor, Dr. Leone Russell is equally as great, so don't worry if Dr. Taylor isn't there - Leone will look after you! With a carpark behind the Medical Centre and lots of free on-street parking readily available this doctor's practice is easily accessible and very friendly.

There's always a catch!…read more -This place does have the cheapest price for Immigration Medical Exam that u need for a VISA (Its all in one package that includes X-ray that u need for $250 but other places do offer same ALLinONE package at different prices). -But the BIGGEST!!! downside is what happens if you DON'T pass! In other word unhealthy or have a medical problem. (Which is 85% of people now a days.) -Parking is by far the fucking worst!! There is no set parking lot. If you park on the Main Street in front of the bath&kitchen store Parking cost $3Hr, if u park in front of the building its $2Hr but real problem is finding a parking!! good Luck with that. -So if u don't pass and have some medical problem like my Partner that has a Low Blood count they wanted us to come in and pay $40 for a follow up just to read is the results they Emailed us and ask questions they could just call us for. So now the Doc said to come in again for full Lab test that COST $130!! In my opinion we did not need to come in for a $40 follow up when they could have just told us the Lab test will cost $130 because the Email already said what's wrong! SMH pointless to have charge us $40 to read us our results. -Not to mention gas! This place is in the city! I don't live in the city and it costs me $15 each trip! to and from there. I've been there 3x times and the Lab test will make it 4x times. So I will be paying $420 for the Exam and have spent $60 in gas to get back in forth every once a week of a months times. This new medical centre (just a few months old) smidged near Victoria Park is small but super…read morehygienic (which is very important for a medical centre) and has the most kind and attentive staff I have ever met - they remember their registered members and are very generous, once I had an infection and they gave me some band aids and sterile dressings that could last me for the next few days so I didn't have to instantly go to the pharmacy from there, and when I had an immunisation the nurse kindly printed me an information sheet about FAQ's regarding my immunisation - she did all of this even though I didn't ask her to, which I find is an act that shows how thoughtful the staff is there. The doctors also give you options to use generic medication (which as a student is really important for me as I don't have that much money to spend on branded medications), and if you are registered with them their prices for check ups are really cheap (I forgot how much but I think it was between $5 to $15) and to top it off, the receptionists are also helpful, and their waiting room has a TV, magazine, and water (even though you probably won't be waiting long since their service is pretty fast)

There are however a large number of doctors available, and that is one of the many benefits of this medical centre. Conveniently located on Auckland's North Shore, Apollo Health & Wellness Centre is a one stop shop. There are doctors and specialists available to cater to all aches and pains, diseases or ailments, imaginary or real. There is even a pharmacy and blood testing facility on site. As for me, while I can recommend the services offered, I would much rather recommend a daily intake of apples.

This all cost him a whopping $74 as he was NOT able to secure an appointment, because if you feel sick today at Apollo you can only get an appointment with your GP in maybe a week's time, so you have to sit at Urgent Care and be prepared to pay this exuberant amount - and then to be told there is nothing wrong with you. When you make the decision to not see your GP you are forced to do the so called review to be able to get you chronic med's and pay in full - however then there is NOTHING wrong with you. Mmm makes you think. I think we are done with this practise.
