My metal allergies have prevented me ever being able to wear them! She was able to send them off for recasting in a metal I've had no allergies to! She is recasting my morganite earrings that had previously had posts welded to the earring baskets causing me to develop severe contact dermatitis. I like shiny, nice things. Unfortunately, and I'm not sure why, this place left me feeling far…read morefrom happy. All I wanted was to peruse their watches, in hopes of finding one that was a good fit for my dad's birthday. Now, I am not an expert but I know a *few* things about watches. I'm also not a person who drapes themselves in obvious name brands, but I know good customer service at "fancy" stores. These folks need to call the Cartier store in Atlanta or Hermes in KoP for some customer service tips. Anyway...walked in and was told we'd have to wait for "one of the guys" to help us. I didn't catch the name of the man who helped us (nor did he offer us a card or anything), but it was obvious he quickly sized us up as "people not worthy of his time." After telling him what we wanted, he pushed an entry model Tag Heuer because "it's part of the big five brands." (I'd love to know what he thought the other four were, but I digress.) I'm not a Tag fan, so he then--despite my saying I'm not a huge watch fan--pushed a gargantuan Tudor. When I inquired about some of their used watches, he just said "oh those are in the thousands" and stared. (Ummm, okay?) So, I asked if they ever got in any other Swiss brands or knew of a vendor--and used Jaeger-LeCoultre as an example. He told me to, wait for it, "look at a department store in town" or "inquire at Bridge Street" which was both comical and insulting given that I was wearing one. And so we left, confused as to why we went in the first place. Practical notes: it's in the same building as a Starbucks and the parking lot is small, so good luck battling every soccer mom and her SUV. Staff will mask up if you are wearing one, which is a good thing (in my book) and they have absolutely zero Rolexes in stock.

They respond to all emails and phone calls and ALSO, you can even TEXT THEM and they even respond promptly and professionally to TEXTS! I have gotten several things done at this jeweler and they have never once treated my requests as simple or "petty" regardless of the fact that I have never bought any of the VERY SERIOUSLY AMAZING JEWELS! What I have done there is get things repaired numerous times over. One time, I went in with a WHOLE SEVERAL PAGE DOCUMENT of instructions because I had so many different pieces of jewelry (none truly super valuable- sterling silver stuff), and they treated each thing with 100% care and professionalism. The huge job that I brought in consisted of a few rings which I wanted quotes on for resizing, a pendant chain that needed a new clasp, a fun vintage sterling silver jingle ball ring which lost a ball, 3 DIFFERENT CHARM BRACELETS WHICH EACH HAD IT'S OWN LIST OF SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS... two of the bracelets were to be LOADED DOWN with dozens and dozens of vintage sterling silver charms, and the third had 3 but they made it look SO MUCH MORE SPECIAL THAN EXPECTED because I gave them creative rights to do with the charms what they thought would be best and WOW! They perfectly polished ONLY the charms that I wanted polished, etc. I'm telling you, my order was A SUPER BIG HANDFUL AND SUPER SPECIFIC AND MY NEW FRIEND (I can't remember her name- you know who you are- you're the BEST!) she typed up ALL OF MY INSTRUCTIONS PERFECTLY AND ALL OF THIS OTHER STUFF because that was procedure... so, all I can say is DO NOT HESITATE TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AND GO IN AND ENJOY YOURSELF AND LOOK AROUND AT THEIR SHOP BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LOT OF AMAZING STUFF- not just SUPER BLINGING DESIGNER JEWELRY, but ALSO AMAZING THINGS WHICH ARE AFFORDABLE FOR GIFTS, SPECIAL EVENTS, ETC!! JUST GO!! Don't be shy about getting simple repairs done here, either. THEY DO IT ALL WITH BELLS ON!! THANK YOU HUDSON POOLE! I LOVE YOU! (Not to be negative- I hate this, but have to say)...Just do not even bother going anywhere else. I have been to other jewelers in town (the mall) and it was a night and day experience. Sometimes people just have a way of making you FEEL GOOD and that is how you will feel leaving Hudson & Poole. That is how you SHOULD FEEL- never waste your time, money, or emotions for special occasions shopping around at locations that hire people that could care less about their job or the business they work at!
