    Welcoming Turkish Delight and juice

Very nice hotel with excellent service and hospitality and excellent location. Positives: We had a large Family Room for 3 people which was very clean, comfortable, and modern. It was located on a quiet street in Sultanhamet within a 5-minute walk to all the big sights such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The rooms still feel new with updated plumbing, electrical (many outlets for charging), heating/cooling, and sound-proof windows. The rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee, mini bar (while inexpensive it is still more expensive than the little store across the street), hair dryer, and many toiletries. The wifi is free, fast, and reliable and they have a laptop you can borrow. We used their private transportation to/from the airport (50TL paid in cash) and we had absolutely no problems. The breakfast was free and we didn't have any problems. Breakfast was served until 10 and we didn't arrive until at least 9:20 every morning and there was plenty of food and items were refilled. There was a different selection of food on different mornings. One morning they were out of cold milk for the cereal and someone ran and got some and brought it to our table. On nice mornings, it was very pleasant to eat on the rooftop terrace. If you eat outside BEWARE the BIRDS! The first morning we put our full plates on an outside table and went back inside to get tea the birds ate from our plates. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast room) at this hotel is incredible. They are nice and helpful and extremely hard working. We were there for 4 nights and the same people were always working. Twice when we were waiting in the lobby and the rooftop terrace they brought us Turkish coffee and Turkish Delight. One night they left us a bottle of wine and a basket of fruit. They also gave us a gift when we left. It was nice being so close to the main sights, as we had to try multiple times to get in the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. They have postcards, maps, and guidebooks for sale in the lobby. Negatives: Noise. You can hear people in the hall and some noise from other rooms. One night we were woken at 3 am by people in the hall saying goodnight to each other and then we were woken again a few hours later by an early morning alarm in another room. No stopper for bathroom sink. The breakfast room is cramped with tables too big for the space. In spite of the negatives, if I were to return to the Sultanhamet area of Istanbul, I would stay here.

Really enjoyed this hotel. It's an extremely tall landmark tower (about 20 stories) on a high…read moreelevation in the heart of Taksim Square. Amazing reception staff and I have to commend Dorukcan Ö., Ahmed K. and Vardıya S. for all their help and the nice welcome at check in. For an urban hotel, it has fantastic amenities. There's a wonderful large pool that overlooks the sea, a fantastic fitness center with glass windows overlooking the square, a beautiful rooftop terrace bar and restaurant with spectacular views, and many shops and restaurants on the lower level. The rooms have large windows and incredible views of the city. The bathrooms are marble with luxurious rain showers and nice amenities. The beds were very comfortable. I found the check in to be extremely fast and very efficient and charming. I've stayed in hotels all over Istanbul and I avoided the Taksim Square area before but at this hotel I love it; the room is an oasis of quiet in the center of the city. But you can step outside and everything is next door! Restaurants, shopping, metro, taxis...The hotel is like an urban spa. The actual spa and hammam are very nice in the hotel. If you want something luxurious, but also want to be in the center of the action and close to nightlife and shopping, this hotel is a fantastic choice. And don't forget to visit the roof terrace bar and restaurant (sometimes featuring DJs) even if you just want to see the view. It's probably one of the most outstanding and highest views in Istanbul....360° views above the city.

Good location, but be careful. The hotel management can…read morepublish your privacy. When you check in One day you can see yourself in YouTube videos.
