I have been a loyal customer for five years and have always appreciated the quality of their wood and the service provided by their driver, Rusty. Historically, my orders have arrived 1/3 to 1/2 a cord short. In previous years, the team was helpful in resolving this by delivering the remaining wood once I provided measurements and photos. However, my experience this year was very different. After I reported the shortfall, I spoke with Scott, who refused to visit my property to verify the measurements despite this being suggested previously. During our conversation, Scott told me that we should "part ways" and declined to provide the missing wood or a reimbursement for the $100 shortfall. Furthermore, I found his remarks--questioning if I knew how to use a tape measure and stating that "some people are just never happy"--to be unprofessional and dismissive of a long-term customer. I understand that loading a truck is not an exact science, but a consistent deficit of this size is significant. I had hoped to resolve this through a simple site visit and measurement confirmation. It is disappointing that, instead of finding a solution, the company chose to terminate our business relationship because it was decided that I was being "difficult".
