Amerigas let an 88 year old women run out of Propane who is on Automatic Delivery. We have been…read morecalling and escalating for three days warning them we would run out before weekend. Escalation team promised delivery and did not show up Thursday. We called back Friday noon time mentioning we ran out of propane and had no heat, Escalation promised a return call within and hour and lied no return status call as promised. Now an Elder who has health issues has been stranded with no heat in the winter with below freezing temperatures. AmeriGas has no weekend deliveries even if you have NO propane and have been calling for several days with warning almost empty. Amerigas should listen to the recorded calls. I have documented (hour and half escalation phone requests) names of customer service reps . I have pictures of empty gauge. Our tank has a gadget that is supposed to send signals to Amerigas percentages of propane., apparently these do not work because we ran out of propane. I do not understand how an automatic delivery customer can run out of propane and be left with out propane four days that is even if they show up on Monday after multiple calls begging for escalations and no propane . Please consider alternate heating sources . Seeking help from anyone to help with situation.
