White Mykonos is a woman's clothing boutique in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is filled with casual beach wear, bathing suits, dresses, coverups, etc. I have never heard of this retailer before. While there are some items that I would consider getting, there are many that seemed very dated. For an unknown retailer to charge such a high cost for pieces that can easily be found at many other places for a fraction off the cost, makes no sense to me. This is one of the very few non-commercial women's clothing stores on Las Olas. It seems that during our Pub Crawl a powerful magnet pulled my wife into this key west style clothing store - why does the phenomenom keep happening? The entire store was light colored beachy style clothing. I found a large white sofa in the middle of the store to relax while the wife tried on attire costing over $300.00, but it was cute. This store was definately higher end. The store had skirts, shorts, beach bags, shirts, long pants and even wrist bands. They had small low tables spread out with assorted clothing and accessories with a fitting room in the back. The sole store employee assisted my wife and was very friendly and professional. I did notice that there was not a business name on the front of the store. The employee was chatty and explained that the owners are in the process of changing the name of the store to an undisclosed name - well oddly she did not reveal the new name even after a lengthy discussion - maybe she was under a gag order, not really sure - maybe a big reveal date. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Misleading and Unprofessional I shopped here on a Saturday evening with two friends after sales staff told us the store was having a 50% off sale. During our visit, the associates kept pushing more clothes into our fitting rooms that we hadn't asked for, and we kindly obliged to try them on. Some of the staff were very sweet and others were a bit pushy and puffing. At checkout, the total was much higher than expected. When I questioned it, the associate said not everything was part of the 50% off sale, which all 3 of us conferred later and believed to be true, but I still went through with the purchase. Later upon inspecting my purchases, I discovered I had been charged for and received a skirt I specifically told the sales associate I did not want. I went back the next day to attempt to resolve, only to be told they had a no refund, exchange-only policy, which I later noticed was posted high above the register, out of clear view, seemingly intentionally placed in hindsight. I explained that I was flying out Monday and needed the issue resolved, but was told to call the manager then because today was Shabbat. When I reached her, she abruptly cut me off and told me to call back in 30 minutes. When we spoke again, she repeatedly cut me off, was rude and dismissive. I requested an exception for a refund since the mistake was on both sides, but she refused only offering an exchange and discount, saying her system "could not process refunds." That claim is false. Any business accepting credit cards has the ability to process a return for errors or overcharges. When I pointed the fact that we both knew she was the owner after claiming she could not make those decisions without contacting her office, she became defensive and insulting saying, "Did we think we were shopping at a flea market?" and hung up. Considering we were misled to believe the entire store was 50% off and the "Made in Italy" clothing is thin, lightweight, and overpriced, the remark was both unprofessional and ironic. I did not take her up on her exchange or discount as there was nothing else I wanted and had already spent over $650 in the store and only looking for the refund for the unwanted item. Misleading sales tactics, poor ethics, and lack of accountability define this place. Buyers should proceed with caution. read more

My friends and I went into this store and the sales lady had all of us believing everything was 50% off. ( the 50% was only on selected items). Everything was overpriced especially since the quality on most items were not the best. They were very pushy ! After you tried on an item and didn't want it they still put it in the pile of clothes that you did want by register. Be very careful because they are very deceitful and try to slip things in you do not want!! We did purchase a few items but an item we did not want got added in. When we went back the next day we explained what happened and they became very defensive and rude. We were told exchanges only no refunds! We also asked why we were told the night before that everything was 50% off but was not honored at the register. She said " Oh! That was a new employee and she didn't know it was only a selected few items! We asked to speak to the manager or owner but could not be bothered! read more

I am giving them 1 star because I truly love their clothes, but get ready to be bullied by the people who works there. As I said before the clothes are beautiful so I when I went the first time my experience by who claims to be the manager was horrible. The most unprofessional, offensive rude lady I ever met. Well I gave it a second chance, I went back with a friend and we both felt harassed and offended by this same lady. I called the next day to report her and the person who answered the phone said "sorry can't help you I am Busy... " it's a nightmare'!!! read more

I bought an expensive pair of jeans in the store in May. They ripped after wearing them twice. I left a message with the manager who never returned my call. I tried again to merely exchange them for a new pair and was told I could not get a return or exchange. I have spent over$500 in the store snd will never shop there again. I suggest that others are very cautious when making a purchase. read more

Love this boutique! They have the cutest dresses and matching sets, it's pricey but I feel it's well worth it. I had a great experience with the staff, the girls working helped me pick outfits that fit my body right, and made sure I was comfortable. Ended up getting 2 outfits and a beautiful dress for 20% off! Great location, got lunch with my family at Louie Bossi right next door. read more

This place is weird. Owner (i think) is weird and pushy. Let people browse! Also, everything looks great from afar and when you get close it all looks extremely cheap and a bit dated. Ie denim shorts with sparkles, cold shoulder etc. Very appropriate for a woman in her 50s with a hot bod. Everything is over priced. I don't get it. read more

Buyer beware! We spent over $700 in this store, and I wanted a blouse as well. I asked the sales person what the fabric is, and she said it is silk. The shirt cost $119, which is a lot for a shirt, but hey, it's silk! We went down the street for coffee and I pulled the shirt out of the bag to look at the tag. It's viscose! They lied to me! We went back immediately and the sales person refused to refund my money even when she saw that the shirt isn't silk. We called the owner who also refused to void the transaction.
