This is a private golf club, I really am not sure if you must be a member of the golf club to eat at the restaurant, but they asked for his membership number, so I think you do. It's a nice 19th hole restaurant/bar with a full lunch/dinner menu, has 2 TV's and seats maybe 100 people. I had the grilled chicken salad, which had fresh lettuce, and the grilled chicken was chunky, but was not spiced in any way, which I think I would have liked. The service there was great. Price was reasonable, $8.50 for grilled chicken salad. I'd go again if I get invited!

A layup of around 200 yards is required from the tee to avoid a stream stretching across the fairway and then, if you are even slightly to the left of center with your drive, you are pretty much blocked out by trees for the second shot. Very odd. I'd travelled quite a distance from the Alpharetta area for a USGA event being held here, so my perspective may be very different from those who live locally. I was expecting a little more from a Private Club. For those familiar with courses north of the city, in terms of standard, think along the lines of Trophy Club of Atlanta, Bradshaw Farms, etc. Nothing wrong with these places at all, jut not worth a 90 minute drive and $85 entry fee. The clubhouse was under renovation so maybe they were just struggling during this period. However, when we showed up before tee off to get some drinks for the round, we were told they have no soft drinks available and even if they had, there were no bags of ice to fill the ice buckets on our carts. Not a great situation in the middle of August guys. Could even be construed as dangerous at this time of year.

The staff is terrible and it is clear that the management team is very lacking. I have been involved with this company one way or another for over 20 years and I am sad to see it in such condition. The corporate company INVITED is to blame as it has obviously gone down hill since they purchased the PTC and Newnan Clubs. They are purging members due to poor quality, from the courses to the food to the lack of customer service, I've watched them let go of their star employees leaving the bottom of the barrel staff. Instead of upping their game they keep laying people off due to having no budget which further ruins the overall experience. I want to say specifically that TARA LONG has no business being in charge of anything. It is embarrassing as a member of the PTC community that the clubs that this town were built around are falling to pieces. I've had MANY club members tell me they cancelled their membership simply because they couldn't find a human that would take their payment and they were sent to MULTIPLE different clubs in the area in search of the "correct person" as they held a check in hand wanting to pay. I have personally held an event at the Flat Creek Country Club and have been involved with their staff for varied reasons, always shocked at the difference I experience once they have TAKEN PAYMENT and I am no longer dealing with the sales team directly. I could go on and on as I have many many more stories to share but I've already wasted enough time on this company. I just hope this review can help someone else not waste their time and resources as I feel I have while being treated like an inconvenience. He was candid, professional, and enjoyable to work with. At the end of the fitting, he gave me options for purchasing, explained where the costs come from, and made sure to input the fine details into the order. After placing the order for me, he provided me with a printed receipt as well as his business card to ensure I would be kept up to date with delivery dates. That price is for a wedding of 10-15 people. They're really closer to $5000-$6000 and up.
