They helped me when I got married & took my husband & his children ( my step-kids) into their practice. Later when I had children , with special needs, they handled them well . I had major issues from their birth, but Dr "J" wouldn't give up on me. He sent me to multiple types of therapy (water, message, dry needling & more) . he helped me when I had to take in my elderly mother with Dementia. When I was hurt at work & eventually DISABLED. He assisted with sending me to specialist for my Bicuspid Aortic Heart Valve & a connective tissue disorder, helped with pre-screening for 20 surgeries . I have trusted them with my & my family's health & life . They cared , they knew us by name and they were very nice/friendly & professional. Unfortunately, I could not afford to remain in Montgomery County once retired - we miss you all .

The back office staff seems to do a fine job. I haven't had any issues with billing or anything for many years. But I do show up on time and cancel with plenty of notice if I need to. The front office staff, however, has rarely been any good over the time I've been going there. I can't figure out why they keep one of the women, who seems to be unpleasant every single day. But all she does is check me in, and I'm not going to downgrade the actual medical care I receive from Mrs. Sirianni because of the office personnel. So, a 5 for PA Sirianni!

Call them every day, today is Thursday, call them twice today and they still working on it. What they have to do just to sign the paperwork and submit to my insurance. They said since I haven't been there in a few years I have to complete new patient paperwork. Fine, no issues. They confirmed my insurance, checking that nothing has changed and I said yes, after they put me on multiple holds. They said they can't make an appointment until after I come in with the forms. Husband tried to call and was passed around from office staff to office staff and after confirming insurance info, date of birth, and name, they said they no longer take Aetna. Their website shows otherwise. Apparently they take only Medicare and a couple others.

I cannot applaud Montgomery Family Medicine enough. We have a personal relationship with most of the staff so we get the attentioin we need. When I could not fit in recently, staff suggested an urgent care which I did--and that was a rarity. I love their policy of not carrying "controlled substances" in the office. In short, it's the best medical facility of which we were patients in decades. I had a minor concern that I thought was more serious. I was referred to a general surgeon and it was taken care of in no time. I needed several tests, and some of them I got on the way home at an X-ray facility on the way! Hubby had a heart attack and needed some Stints and Dr Brill explained everything and even came to me after and let me know how things went. We see him every 6 months and when hubby recently had a stroke Dr Brill had gone over and above to review everything to see if he needs to change something as far as medication. Phones often are not answered. Staff at desk are abrupt or ineffective-- even yell out to patients for information on the condition's being treated. It's becoming increasingly apparent that they lack decorum and are unable to fulfill their basic administrative functions adequately. How their management is unaware of the problems is unclear.

He makes you feel as if you're his only patient taking whatever time is needed to answer any questions and keep you informed of the treatment plans. My husband came to the center unable to walk because of spine surgery and with a diagnosis of a blood disorder.  As a result of Dr. Thorpe's thoroughness, it turned out that there was no blood disorder.  The usual blood tests provided inaccurate results. The physical and occupational therapists were equally caring and skilled. The therapies had him walking and slowly becoming self sufficient. The nursing care cannot be praised enough.They were always responsive to his needs and often checked in just to see how he was doing. Our care navigator, Ms. Enitan Macarthy worked to maintain quality care and made the transition home seamless. We owe a debt of gratitude to the entire staff for getting my husband functioning well enough to come home.
