I…read morealways love walking into thrift stores and seeing what people have discarded, only to be rediscovered by someone else. As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. Be careful, walk into Junk in the Trunk and you'll be walking into a time-warp that you may not want to leave.

Great selection! I…read morespecifically came here to visit Honey B's, which is inside. From their FB ads, I usually want to wrap the entire booth to take home. I think I came at a bad time, as they had just had a big tent sale outside of town. No Louis chairs, and I was bummed. But the rest of the store was faboo too. I found a couple old books (one Agatha Christie) and the cutest little metal crown decoration, all of which I needed to make my new built-in library shelves look perfect. Sales folk were friendly but not overbearing, and prices weren't outrageous. Will definitely be returning on future visits to Calgary!

Went there with my boyfriends family and came across my dream vintage find. A pair of vintage…read moreroller skates, which happen to fit perfectly, not too big and not too small. They are ice skates that have been customized and turned into roller skates. In great condition and were fairly priced. I've only ever seen leather white or black vintage skates but these are suede and red! I've been looking for a pair for months and this is the first pair I have ever found and I lucked out by them being my size! I've already took them out for a spin and they're perfect, just need to switch the indoor wheels for outdoor wheels and I'm all set! They had a wide variety of booths with everything you could ever imagine including a booth full of video games and my personal favourite Pyrex! Definitely worth the drive from Calgary and will be stopping here more in the future! The staff was super friendly and kind!
