Great place to eat in Kamloops but...my only "thing" is that while I really enjoyed the great staff who are always joking with you while at the same time giving great service they don't have any "ethnic" foods LOL :-) To be fair though, they do have some ethnic inspired dishes such as the Asian bowls which are both tasty and filling by the way! I will say that if you're looking for a quality meal at a "fair" price that is both central to Kamloops, just off the highway (so it's a great place to stop on the way to Vancouver or...towards Alberta or even Northwards) the Kamloops White Spot is a safe bet instead of some of the more "advertised" places to eat in Kamloops such as Wok Box who clearly spend their money on marketing and advertising rather than quality food and customer service. I actually wish they were open 24 hours because I'm sure that once you try it, you'll be sure to visit it again! Burgers: Go for the Bacon, Cheddar, Bigger Burger....or the Monty Mushroom burger Appy: Dry ribs...! Salad: For the Chicken Caesar (get the dressing on the side...it can be put on a bit thick at times depending who's in the kitchen) Dessert: Strawberry Cheesecake (eh-hem... I'm told it's great not that I'd ever eat two of them...) ;-) Hit the gym after a rest to work it all off! The White Spot in Kamloops is more than a safe bet for a quick on-the-run meal or a nice place to meet for a power breakfast, business lunch/meal or if you just want to dive into dessert!

We saw these restaurants all over the place. We tried to avoid them because we try to stay away from chains when we travel, so that we can eat at local joints, but this time it was too hard when driving in a day from Vancouver, BC to Jasper, AB. It seems to be the equivalent to a Denny's in the United States, but a little bit more refined. The place was very clean and they offered drinks, which we weren't expecting. They have a large diner inspired menu. The service was good and the food came out quickly. I ate a burger and a salad. I enjoyed mine. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad. It was exactly what you would expect, which I am fine with. For what it is, it is good and I'd stop again for a quick meal.

The food here was pretty good, but it seemed like my waitress forgot about me; I waited 30-45 for my food, and it was cold when I got it.

My Grandma keeps dragging me here for some reason. I guess it's ideal for her ancient and worn out sense of taste.

Sounds like this may be an unpopular opinion but I would say the Noble Pig was mid at best. We came…read morein after a long day at a nearby hockey tournament so it was definitely a full house, but based on rave reviews we were expecting much more than what we received. The ambiance was chill and the booths were roomy and comfortable but sadly that was probably the highlight of the meal. The server was ok but not overly friendly or attentive by any means. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a pulled pork "bowl" and a small pizza. Nothing too crazy or over the top so we figured it was pretty simple and would be relatively fast. To our surprise it took a solid 40 minutes. We figured that one of the dishes may have taken a bit longer so we stayed patient, but when the food was served it was lukewarm nearing cold. The food was nothing special but maybe could have gotten another star had it been served hot. Sadly disappointed to be quite honest, the best part of the actual meal itself was the side of French fries that accompanied the pulled pork sandwich. Sadly, the menu prices definitely did not match the quality of food or rave reviews.

We read that The Noble Pig was the best restaurant in Kamloops so it was our first stop in town. We…read morearrived around dinner time and hungry! We were seated right away by a friendly host and our server who was super helpful throughout our visit. While we dined, the place got much busier and had a nice buzz to it. It had a distinct theme inside that aligns with its name and its selection of flagship brews. As I mentioned, we were hungry after a long drive so we obviously over ordered. We started with the Triple Threat Pull Apart Bread and the Crispy Pickles. Both were amazing! The bread was so soft and delicious and the pickles were savoury, but also spicy! Be warned! My partner ordered the Stuffed Yorkies because they weren't something we'd seen on a menu before. He loved them! The dish was three Yorkshire puddings stuffed full so it was also HUGE. I got the Flagship Mac and, honestly, for a place with multiple macs on the menu, it was remarkably unremarkable, unfortunately. Don't be discouraged, though! The quality of the rest of the food was so high that it made up for that tiny miss. If you're in Kamloops, check out The Noble Pig. They also have a great patio!

Strongly recommend you stop in for a hamburger and ice cream. I love the drive inn burgers and sandwiches here! The fries are the best, hand cut, and nicely served! The staff are extremely nice! It is mostly burgers, chicken and sandwiches. It is a very old style diner inside with no charm or redeeming qualities - arborite tables and chairs. The food is very expensive for what you get - $3.00 for coffee, $9.50 for 2 piece chicken snack and $2.00 for a small soft drink. Because the kitchen is open you can hear the staff talking among themselves and we heard a disparaging remark made about us. Note to staff - when you make comments about me I can hear you and I do not appreciate your comments. The food was disgusting. We both had a 2 piece chicken snack. The French fries were well beyond well done and the chicken was greasy. When I lifted up my chicken I noticed that the oil on the plate from the chicken was green so I don't know how often they change the oil if at all. This is definitely a place to stay away from.
