Allow me to preface. I had wanted to get some new exhaust tips welded on my car. My buddy knew…read moreDecan from selling truck parts and I had seen some of their work on Snapchat. Their shop is about an hour and a half from me but I was told they could get the tips welded in a short time frame, which was great, so I made the drive. I relayed that the job wouldn't be a simple cut and weld, but there would need to be slight modification and addition exhaust pipe length need to properly fit them how I wanted. Was told that wouldn't be an issue and was given a time to show up to get the job done. Again, I understand that the job wasn't simple, but it shouldn't have been to difficult for a shop with a reputation of custom exhaust work. Got the work done and was overall happy with the end result. I was charged more than expected for a job of this caliper. But none the less, they fit me in under short notice, so l called it good. On my way back home, I noticed that the exhaust tips had drooped significantly and after looking under the car to see what could've happened, I was met with this see pictures). The quality of the welds WAS NOT what I would've hoped for the price paid, alongside the fact that both sides welds had failed and the exhaust tips were sitting almost 3 inches lower than when I left the shop. I, as well as my buddy who put me in contact with the shop, tried reaching out to get a solution figured out, but was only met with excuses. No solution was made, and I ended up going elsewhere to get the exhaust tips fit again ultimately resulting in more money spent to get a simple exhaust job completed. I understand that my request to get the work done was last minute, however, I was a paying customer and the work performed at the shop on a weekend should be consistent with any other work day. I can't speak to the quality of any work of theirs outside of the exhaust work I received, but I would not recommend it for the price paid.
