Used to be a great place to get a wash before the new guy started working there. Clearly high as hell all the time. Came in with my brand new Denali with some dirt on it. Proceeded to use the brush down the entire bed side and scratch the shit out of it. I'm currently finding out where I can have all the scratches fixed but I haven't got a quote back less than 1000 bucks. I authorized $12.95 a month to pay for unlimited car washes. The last 3 months this company has taken unauthorized monies of $29.95 a month. I've left multiple voicemail messages and a email with no correspondence from this company. You need to check your bank account withdrawals by this company. Left a ton of micro scratches, maybe some macro scratches, all over my car. I went to get a free wash from a coupon in the mail and got the "best" wash option they had. This place will peel the paint off of your car no matter how new it is. Water pressure was way too high and the brushes were far too sharp/hard for a car that doesn't have rhino shielding or diamond plating on it. Please do NOT go here. read more

I've been going to car wash for several years. Been a unlimited member for a few years and I ALWAYS tip the staff VERY well. My mom is visiting from out of state & was looking for a place to get her car washed. I recommended a trip to Dover to White Water; she paid $25 for the Works and we gave the attendant a nice tip. Neither attendant put a brush on the car & the wash was done way too fast! In the end, there was still bird poo on the hood! $25 plus tip for a half arce job. Not impressed read more

Used to go here all the time. I was a member of the monthly club. One of the guys would make a comment if I went more than once a week. Even though you pay for unlimited washes. I wouldn't have to go more than once a week if the car was cleaned correctly the first time. After getting an earful that I was abusing the "unlimited washes" I cancelled my subscription. When I cancelled it I started paying for the $5 wash weekly. The guy would make comments that it was "only a $5 jobbie" No I only go here as a last resort. Don't appreciate the snide comments and half assed washes. I'd be better off with a bucket and a sponge in my driveway.... read more

First time here with my new truck. I've always used manual car washes in the past but figured what the heck I'll try it. Came out looking terrible. Dirty with multiple areas of obvious mechanical damage to the hood, A-frame, and 100's of scratches down the sides. Spoke with the Manager about the damage who promptly smirked and told me to "prove it!" and refused to give any information about the owner or insurance. Filed a claim with my insurance company, paid the deductible- all done! read more

Poor management, lazy prep workers, and options you pay for don't actually work. No matter how hard I've tried over the YEARS I had unlimited passes on my vehicles paid tips asked,begged no matter why every time I've had a problem and there's been numerous I'm always met with an argument and someone telling me I'm wrong without them listening or even knowing what I'm complaining about instead of just trying to fix it. I often wonder if the owners know how poorly this company is managed... I've tried to reach somebody in upper management many times with no luck! Makes me realize they don't even know the problems they have. Whether you call my phone or email first time so you won't get a response and if you do it will be the same person Who told you were wrong in the beginning. I tried and tried to give this place a chance because it's the closest one and it's the most convenient. I have 4 unlimited car wash passes for all my vehicles and a few for our company vehicles. I told them I needed to be picked up after the $170 detail I had done. They said no problem. A staff person called to tell me the car was ready to be picked up. I told him I needed to be picked up. He said, "Oh sorry about that." and hung up the phone. I assumed they would be calling me to say they were outside shortly. An hour passed. I called back. A woman answered. I explained the situation. She said "My manager is at home depot picking up a part, I'll have her call you whenever she gets back." I wasn't happy, but assumed it wouldn't be long if that was the answer I got. Another hour passed. I called back. The same woman answered. I told her she needed to call her manager and explain the situation and to have her call me. She said she would do that. Forty minutes pass. I put on my shoes and WALKED TO THE CAR WASH. It's over two miles. It takes about a half an hour. At this point, it's been three hours and change since I was first called, and over five hours they've had the car. I step inside and the manager says "Oh I just called you." I pull out my phone and the time stamps shows she literally must have called as I was walking across the parking lot. I start explaining the situation, and at no point do I hear "I'm sorry that happened" or "Let me make this right for you" or "I apologize for the inconvenience." Instead the manager keeps telling me what I 'did wrong'. For example, she says times aren't guaranteed. There's no where on the confirmation email I received that states times aren't guaranteed, further it even states the duration is 210 minutes. Which is moot because the car was done two hours in, and no one should expect them to have the car TWO EXTRA HOURS beyond the appt time. She tells me "Your supposed to tell us when you make the appt you need to be picked up." There's nothing on the website where I made the appointment that states you need to do this, and I've had mine and my husband's car detailed there multiple times and got picked up, no issue. I even told her I needed to be picked up when I dropped off the car. She didn't have any issue at that point, and she COULD have said "Oh, that might be a problem because I don't have anyone to pick you up today, maybe we need to reschedule or I have to keep your car later until I can have someone pick you up, is that okay?" The manager did nothing to apologize, she did nothing to recognize my inconvenience, she dismissed that I was upset about being made to walk to the business after three extra hours to get my car, and she didn't attempt to make it right. Saying "I'm sorry, we didn't intend for this to happen. I can see this is very frustrating for you, and I completely understand why you are upset. You've been waiting longer than you thought you would, and you were inconvenienced. I can give you a $10 discount on the detail, and we will update our website to clearly show our policy regarding times not being guaranteed and the need to discuss pick up/drop off at the time of scheduling. I am truly sorry for this inconvenience" would have gone a long way to making me consider going back. At this point, I am not going back unless I get to speak to the owner about my experience. When I requested to speak to the owner, the manager stated "There's no reason to get the owner involved." read more

So disappointed in this car wash. They have one employee that cleans front and back of cars the rest are very lazy. I always have to go through twice to do a 75% good job. I had my car done the other day and noticed when I got home it was so dirty in back and couldn't get back til a day later and they wouldn't redo because you have to do on same day leaving me to have to back out. So unprofessional. Not worth the reduced price when I have to waste time having to go back again. Lost a customer and in sure many others after they get tired of bad service. If you do go make sure to go through twice maybe they'll start giving a better service. read more

If I could leave a zero star rating I would. This establishment will not take responsibility for the 1K in damage they did to my car as a result of putting the 2017 Subaru with 5000 miles through their wash. Uniform scraping of the paint down to the bare metal all the way up the hood of my car. Damage was discovered within an hour of the car leaving the car wash and brought to their attention. Of course they denied that it was their machines. But I know where it happened! Sent local police to establishment but manager claimed she did not have the companies insurance name. Called more than a dozen times no one answered. Left three eerily calm messages for the sole owner, Kevin, but he never returned my calls. Now it is in the hands of my insurance company. read more

I used to pass through occasionally. When I saw the unlimited options I figured I'd give it a try. I selected the $20/month option as that's the level that gets the undercarriage - road salt be-gone! They put a tiny bar-code inside your windshield to show your membership. I've been through the wash 3-4 times / week some weeks and once a week on others. I've never heard a negative word nor gotten any grief for going to often as others indicate. In fact, when I had my dog with me on one occasion the attendant brought a dog biscuit over with the vacuum token! The new equipment does a thorough job of cleaning and I believe this is a bargain seeing as I'm averaging $2 to $3 / wash. Unlimited is a great idea and I've been treated well. read more

I completely agree with some of the other reviewers here, depending upon who is working the automatic car wash when you show up makes a huge difference in the result. While they did some equipment upgrades it can't replace human effort. Some of the workers seem very lazy not even rinsing off the car at all even when no one is behind you. As far as I know they are the only car wash in Dover offering unlimited monthly packages so you could pay a little more elsewhere and get a far better wash if you drive a beater you don't really care about it's a great deal if you spent 50k for your car you probably won't be impressed. I keep it mostly for the winter months to keep the salt off my car but I can do a far better job spending five dollars a pop at the manual booth and doing it myself. I wouldn't even consider them detailing my vehicle they just don't seem to be that motivated. read more

Just ok, probably not worth the $60 to detail my car and customer service is really lacking. I brought my car in one afternoon and they assured me it would be ready by 11am the next day. We went back the next day, and my car was sitting in the same spot, with nothing done to it. We were traveling that afternoon (the reason I asked if it would definitely be ready that morning) and had to leave my car there for 3 days. We swung by on our way home (even though we didn't get a call that it was ready as promised, and called them multiple times with no response). My car is cleaner than when I brought it in but there are some untouched grimy spots that I'll have to do myself, and they left some random tools in my trunk. I'll have to go elsewhere next time! read more

I was a customer for over a year signed up for the ultimate unlimited wash the last couple of months I noticed the wash wasn't coming out clean then I noticed that I was only getting a basic wash depending on the attendant my experience is it is a rip off and its not what your paying for. The volcanic wash is suppose to do the wheels but you have to pay extra for it and if you go through more than 2 times a month with the UNLIMITED wash you get flack......... read more

We have been disappointed the last two times we have come. Previously the people working there have always used the brush to go over the wheels, the back and the entire car ( if it was really dirty). We have always tipped because we were getting good service. The last two times, those working did not wash off the vehicle, they did the back bumper only and did not even give us the cloth to wipe down the interior of our car. I have been told they are only required to do the back of the car. There is good service and there is just doing what is necessary to keep your job. The latter certainly does not earn a tip. Hope this service goes back to the way it used to be. I pay the monthly fee and have been happy to have the ability to get my car washed as often as needed, but if service continues to be "just doing what is required", I'll most likely find another car wash. We have been customers for many years and would be unhappy to have to leave. read more

This is the first yelp review I have written. I feel so compelled because my experience at White Water Car Wash yesterday afternoon was awful. The attendant was frankly a complete jerk. He passive aggressively spoke to me as if I were a moron for not rolling my window down while there was water flying around. Fine, you want me to roll the window down. There's a polite way to ask. Then I couldn't hear him and didn't realize we'd have to pay upfront. He became nastier. No pleases or thank yous. No smiles. Just short, snide remarks with a nasty glare as if I was a fool. Finally he said "Have a GREAT day" in the most condescending way. He and his colleague spent all of 5 seconds scrubbing our car with their brushes and then we rolled through their tunnel. After spending $12 for their most expensive option, we still only spent what had to have been 60-90 seconds in the wash. I can still see dirt on my vehicle. I've had better washes at plain ol' gas station washes. It was just a terrible experience, partly because the wash wasn't very thorough but mostly because the lack of quality customer service. I hadn't done anything to this guy other than choose his business. He apparently was having a bad day and decided to passive aggressively take it out on a customer who was new to the facility and didn't have a 100% sense of what was going on.
