I went in looking for a table lamp and a stool. All the lamps and stools I saw were too expensive for what I want to use them for. There are different shops within the warehouse with vendors around to help. I like that no one came up to me and asked me what I was looking for, or tried pushing anything on me. No signs that say, "do not touch", "do not sit", or anything. I'm pretty sure if I sat there, it would've been fine and I'm 4 times her weight. After telling off my kid, he went back to ignoring us by the register, not looking up from whatever he was reading. I lost interest in the cases, accessories, and furniture. Dogs on leashes were in the store (no complaint from me; love me some doggoes) and no one was chasing after them to not touch the furniture. Whatever bad experiences they've had with other children is no excuse to embarrass my child or make her feel like she did anything wrong, and yes, the tone clearly made her feel that way despite us cooly, and quietly leaving.
