Amazing Receptionists that are friendly and respectful. The nurses are very helpful and friendly. The Doctors are also very friendly and helpful. The new White Wilson team is amazing. Will not go anywhere else. They are a Family Practice that also does labs. Quick service. A receptionist is always reaching out or trying to help with anything that they can. The Receptionists, Nurses and the Doctors are quick to reply back even through the Patient Portal. read more

I mean I think they are trying but clearly the lack of providers is taking a toll on the providers that are still working. It sounds like providers are being trafficked like se* slaves. Unable to leave until they pay back or fulfill their unreasonable obligations. Our experience with White-Wilson Medical, particularly with Dr. Hamilton and pediatrician Dr. Parm, has been disturbing and unacceptable. My husband has been waiting since May for a referral for a sleep study. Despite repeated calls from us and the sleep study clinic, Dr. Hamilton has not responded. The sleep study group even told us they've called multiple times with no answer or follow-up. It's been months, and my husband's care has been completely stalled due to this negligence. In my own visits with Dr. Hamilton, I experienced something even more troubling. On two separate occasions, he made multiple inappropriate comments about the size of my breasts. These remarks were entirely uncalled for, had nothing to do with the reason for my visits, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior from a physician. We also had a very poor experience with pediatrician Dr. Parm. We brought our infant son in for a visit, and while he was actively crying, a medical assistant took his heart rate using a machine. When Dr. Parm came in, she looked at the elevated reading and told us we needed to take our son to the ER -- without ever laying a hand on him or reassessing once he calmed down. At the ER, staff were shocked that a pediatrician would refer out without doing a basic physical exam herself. Between the lack of communication, unprofessional and inappropriate conduct, and complete failure to provide proper care, we will never return to White-Wilson and strongly caution others to seek care elsewhere. read more

So far, I've left 3 voicemails over the course of the past week. And sat on hold for at least a full 2 hours attempting to make an appointment. If I'm being honest, this is complete bs. And yes, I tried the website and I couldn't get that to work either. Update. I called and they won't allow me to make an appt with that physician. I have to waste everyone's time and money and see someone else before I can see the desired physician. If this physician wasn't so highly recommended I would go elsewhere. I went into White Wilson immediate care yesterday for really bad flank pain. I saw nurse practitioner Connie Slaughter. I told her I have a history of kidney stones and bad UTIs. I have been septic twice from a UTI. She ordered a sample of urine and an X-ray. She came back and said that my urine was clear and there was no infection just a lot of blood. She had thought I had a small stone and to just wait for it to pass. I left with no pain medication, no nausea medication, just made to suffer. The pain and vomiting got way worse so I went to the ER. I have now been admitted to the hospital for pyelonephritis. See, the ER did a ct scan, and actually checked my urine. I've been vomiting non stop and I have been in so much pain. Thankfully the ER listened to me and actually checked my urine. If I hadn't of gone to the ER and listened to nurse practitioner Connie, I would've ended up septic. Do not come here unless you want false diagnoses. read more

Well it seems that White Wilson got yelp to take down my last reviewed review I just posted yesterday, so I'm going to repost it again today. My wife was there yesterday for an appointment and waited over an hour and 10 minutes to be seen by the doctor. She took off work to get there on time and all the receptionist said was the doctor is running behind. My very first experience with this business was when I had a referral from the VA to see a doctor in this office. The VA scheduling department could never reach this company and I called several times and left messages and nobody returned my phone call. So obviously I went somewhere else. We have not been impressed with this company and we do not intend to use this company for any further needs. read more

This place is an absolute disaster. I called and called to get an appointment set up and they never return my phone call. I finally gave up and went somewhere else. My wife goes to this medical center and they write prescriptions for the minimal amount. They are always late, they are unprofessional and we will never be back. If you are cash pay then this is not the place for you. They will insist on keeping your credit card on file for unforeseen charges, and there Will be unforeseen charges. I asked for prices that could be charged beyond what I paid upfront, and was told that if the doctor talked to me about more than a new patient exam it could be another $118 for a well visit. I did have a sore shoulder so I guess that was above a new patient exam. He suggested a couple of x-rays. I found out the price upfront of $87 and paid for them along with $220 for a new patient visit. I ended up getting a bill for another $118 for a well visit and $87 for the x-rays again. I called billinh and explained I had already paid for the xrays, they marked it paid but then said the exam actually cost $205. They moved the $87 over to the exam price. I explained that the front desk told me any extra exam would be $118. She apologized and said the other lady was wrong and now I owe over $205 more for just the well exam. All these charges with absolutely no labs or diagnoses of the x-rays. Recommendations were given to get my yearly exams done and to walk 30 minutes a day. I can't even imagine the price if i would have had labs done. I was told a supervisor would call me but that never happened. read more

I was being seen in this clinic for a few years. My PCP was a bit rushed during visits and seemed overly concerned about my blood pressure that reads normal everywhere but there it seems. Otherwise I usually had an okay visit. I went in last July for my appointments and was told that I could not be seen due to a $25 copay charge that they said that I didn't pay. This charge was for over two years prior and I remember exactly paying the payment since I was taken into a little cubby office in the waiting room on my next visit to pay it. After going back and forth with their billing department, they finally admitted that yes I had paid the $25 but they then applied it to the wrong thing, therefore in their eyes I needed to pay it again!! Their mistake and they want me to pay again! I am on a fixed income where that $25 will cover a half week of groceries or 3 of my medications. I can not pay for their mistake. I tried talking to billing that since I had paid and they messed up it was their responsibility. They refused to budge. I have left their clinic and found a new PCP and all of my related specialist are being searched for now. At this point even if they finally admitted and took responsibility for their mistake, I don't have the trust to go back. read more

The PCP my family sees is amazing!! Dr Freier , very caring and thorough- great Doctor !! His nurse , Stephanie is also amazing , caring and helpful !! The rest of the staff, not so much . The ladies that answer the phone at the Navarre location are frequently rude and unhelpful, on the phone as well as in person !!!! Messages don't get communicated to the nurse , it takes over a week to get medication refills, to the point - I run out of medication!! Unacceptable I have been a nurse for 32 years and their level of empathy and compassion at the front desk is sorely lacking . Also, their professionalism is non existent !! So sad to see this type of atmosphere at any medical facility Patient satisfaction = 0 for the front office staff !!!!!!!! I'm always told they are short staffed!! Don't even call here because from Tuesday - Friday I have been calling to make an appointment and they just keep saying "we can't help you. We don't do that here" then finally Thursday I get an appointment for Friday at White Wilson in fort Walton Beach, I get there and they tell me it's at the one in Navarre I called the staff in Navarre to work it out and this rude receptionist once again tells me that can't help me. Honestly the worst. Don't waste your money or time. Go to the one in fort Walton they at least try to understand and help you, give you sources of someone who will help you. read more

My young adult son went to the walk-in clinic b/c he was experiencing ear pain. After almost 3 hours and $167.00, they flushed wax out of one ear and told him to get over-the-counter wax flush for the other ear (painful ear) because the flush in the office didn't clear the wax. YIKES-time consuming, inefficient and expensive! A real trifecta of service!!! read more

Wow what a great establishment my daughter use to go on base to see a female provider but her provider was a new patient and hadn't seen the doctor for her initial appt. My daughter ran out of her medicine so they had her bring in her pill bottle and filled her Rx with enough till she was seen. The ladies at the front desk and nurses truly and genuine concern for their clients. Will report back once she has seen her doctor. read more

Wow. Just wow. I've worked in and with the medical industry for many years. This place is impressively bad and has accepted poor service as routine. Been here twice for simple stuff. Extraordinarily long wait of well over an hour and a half when not busy. People come and go from the waiting room with little rationality. They have apparently figured out that about 4/5 of their patients are tourists, never to return. A couple individuals are decent but the general service ethic and staffing seems rooted in not even trying to get repeat patients. If you can by any means safely drive a little further and find another provider, you'll be happy to have avoided the experience. Sadly, Yelp forced me to give this place at least one star - they don't deserve the "1" score. read more

We came here for medical care. The staff was quick and courteous. They diagnosed our condition and even sent the prescription to a nearby pharmacy. This is a large facility. There is parking next to the building. If you are here in the Gulf Coast and need urgent care, I do recommend this place. read more

I have been here several times. I saw the actual doctor once and the rest is a pa. They don't really care about you. They don't remember you you're just a number. The front desk staff are rude and seem like you are bothering them. I went in on a Friday and the nurse was supposed to call in a regular script. She didn't do it. So I called back in on Saturday when they are open and had to leave a message. It still wasn't done. I called on Monday in the morning and let them know it still wasn't done. Midday I called back and was literally hung up on. I wasn't mad or being mean. She asked me what milligram my med was I said I'm not sure and need to look at the bottle. As I was walking into the kitchen I hear the headset clanking down on the phone hanging up. I call back someone else answers and says of yeah somehow it got disconnected. Disconnections just go out not hearing someone putting the phone down. Needless to say the script still hasn't been called in because they do that in between patients or whenever they can. I don't normally complain but when I pay for services I expect to get them. Not whenever they feel like doing it. I know they wouldn't allow me to treat their BILLS that way. read more

Horrible experience. Run, run, run away. After waiting over an hour to be seen, then waiting some more for instructions I was told to go back to the receptionist for my necessary paperwork for my work. The receptionist told me to find a seat and she'd call me when it was ready. After watching multiple people come in and go back out I lost it. Yep I dropped a swear word out loud but to myself. Apparently that got her attention and she asked me what I was waiting for. Really? Then she proceeded to tell me that she hadn't spoken to me. Again Really? She then told me that she couldn't handle my type of paperwork without me telling her what type of paperwork I was waiting for. REALLY? She then told me that I would have to come back tomorrow for it.... Never again. She should be fired! read more

Currently being seen at Quality Urgent Care and Wellness since 25 minutes ago, I tried going to White-Wilson which is 3 miles from my temporary home. I am Active Duty from Tyndall AFB and TDY at Eglin AFB and me and my family are evacuees from Hurricane Michael. When I came to check in the lady at the front desk asked are you the Active Duty member, (well based on my AD ID card it was an obvious YES) but I just said Yes. Strike 1! She said, we can't see you because you're Active Duty. I tried to explain to her that I am here TDY (Temporary Duty), I cannot just go t a base like Hurlburt or Eglin and be seen just because I'm AD, my Primary Care Manager is at Tyndall AFB and I wasn't planning to drive all the way to Panama City to be seen for the flu. She wasn't knowledgeable of how this works...Strike 2! And when I tried to explain it to her she wouldn't even let me finish talking and just sorry we won't see you. (Rude...Strike 3!) I called Tricare right afterwards and told her what happened and she couldn't believe I was treated like that. So I drove to Fort Walton Beach Quality Urgent Care who didn't treat me rudely or even asked me such questions. Obviously if I were stationed here I would know to go to my base clinic to be seen unless it's the evening or weekends where I can go to an Urgent Care or Emergency room. You need to educate your people. Eventually my family will PCS here within the next year and if we need to go to an Urgent Care, no matter how close your facility is, I refuse to take my family to a place who isn't knowledgeable and are rude. I didn't appreciate how I was treated. read more
