They wanted me to sign 4 2 more dental procedures 1 was a small tooth to fill - $300 ! I Went to a deferent Port Orange dentist said I didn't even need a filling or any other procedures & 2 come back in 3 -6 months 4 a regular free cleaning. They take advantage of us older patients. I have never had such a bad experience with any Doctor. I was told that the Doctor who was to make my crowns did not want to work with me after meeting me for the first time began telling me about his experiences with dealing with cancer three times. I asked him to please stop discussing this because my son was days away from dying from cancer and was in hospice. A few days later I was told that he did not want to work with me and I had to seek medical attention elsewhere which took weeks and left my in pai. My son died a week after that incident. I am a nurse and my husband a physician and neither one of us have ever heard a physician discuss his personal medical issues with a patient. absolutely unprofessional in every aspect. I've been pondering for a while how to write this review. There is so much I want to get across in it, but I don't want to make it so long that you don't get how amazing this place is! For my history - I have had lifelong problems with my teeth - big problems. I also have a bonafide phobia of dentists - the terror is real! I have had so many bad experiences at different dentists throughout my life and each one has scarred me just a little more. I have been physically hurt, judged for the state of my teeth, and in so many cases I have been assured the office I was researching was sensitive to patients with severe fears and anxiety, just to learn when it was too late that was not true. White Wolf Dental changes all of that. As usual I only found them because the pain in my mouth was beyond what I could deal with anymore. With much trepidation I began the all to familiar, and always disappointing, search for a dentist to help. I picked White Wolf based on liking the name (Science!) and made the dreaded first call. From that first call through to now, I have been consistently pleasant surprised by just how good this place is. The staff and the hygienists are professional, caring and friendly. They clearly enjoy their jobs. Doctors Kulaga, Parmar and Abrahams are each wonderful in their own right, and I have worked with each of them fairly extensively. The attention to my comfort in terms of my anxiety and fears is incredible. The hygienists will do things in ways that are inconvenient to them just to ease my fears as have each of the doctors. I have learned more about my own conditions than I ever knew because they are great educators and this has alleviated feelings of shame I had over the condition of my teeth. White Wolf exceeds what I had ever hoped to obtain in a dentist office. I am heard, understood, made to feel welcome, treated with so much compassion and dignity, and we go at a pace I can handle even if it means taking breaks during my treatments. I don't want to gush and sound disingenuous but I honestly can't find enough ways to get get across how pleased I am with White Wolf. I think anyone would be very happy with coming here for their dental needs, but for anyone that has anxiety, fear, a true dental phobia, or a lifetime of bad experiences, this is the place that is going to restore your faith and exceed your expectations. read more

I would Not recommend this place to anyone. Every time I went for a cleaning they would tell me I would need an expensive procedure done. I put it off and the next time I would go I asked about that procedure that they claimed i needed , they told me that I didn't need that specific procedure however I would need something else. This went on for several visits and I finally had enough. TERRIBLE AND AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I went to White Wolf Dental for a year . I joined their pricey Quality Dental Plan because I needed 4 periodontal treatments a year and I could get a discount on the treatments. On my 3rd treatment, Jeannie took about 30 minutes to complete the treatment (the previous 2 treatments took almost the full hour each). I realized something was wrong and when I was checking out I asked to speak with one of the main dentists but no one was available. A couple days later I spoke with Dr. Abrahams and he said since the hygienist did clean my teeth and did NOT do the periodontal cleaning they will give me 50% credit on my next visit. Why did Dr. Abrahams NOT offer to get me in and do the correct treatment? Why did they admit they made a mistake and NOT correct the problem they made? Apparently they are fine with me NOT getting the treatments they advise. On my 4th periodontal cleaning, I was assigned a new hygienist and she did a good job. However, when I checked out they tried to charge me the full amount and then it took them about 10 minutes to find the credit that was due to me. My observation in all my visits for the last year is the office seems very disorganized. I have witnessed a couple patients getting upset in the lobby for whatever reason. They don't take insurance like most dentists in this area, but they will process your insurance for you if you have health insurance. BCBS sends me a check every time I get a checkup. I was experiencing a problem which turned out to be a failed implant which needed removal. I met with Dr Kulaga who immediately made me feel comfortable and confident, which is no small matter as I have had extensive dental work and am a nervous wreck at the dentist. From the welcoming staff at the front to Dr Kalaga the office made me feel welcome and comfortable, I made an appointment to have the failed implant removed. I opted to use nitrous which really helped me not to panic. Dr Kalaga was kind, patient, and explained everything he was doing. It was traumatic losing an implant (done up in Maine, not at this office) and he made the experience the best it could have been. I was referred to White Wolf Dental by a good friend. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by Jaylyn and immediately feel at home. Dr. Abrahams and Dr. Kulaga inherited my mess. My dentures were made very poorly in Ohio and kept breaking. I did not have enough implants initially placed in Ohio and without that support they kept breaking. Dr. Abrahams has since done several bone grafts and implants for me. He is wonderful and very good at what he does. I recovered nicely after each surgery. Dr. Kulaga has gone way out of his way for me. He has come in several times even on his day off trying to help me keep this old pair going while we made new dentures. Today I received my temporary set and they are wonderful. I was able to actually bite properly and chew with the teeth in the back. (Probably the first time in a decade!) These Dr.'s will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and that everything is aligned properly. They are forward thinkers and highly skilled. I think I have worked with almost the whole staff. Lorena, Kayla, Jaylyn, Sam, Theresa, Genny, Julie, Leanette and Diane. If I forgot anyone I apologize. I have noticed a very different skill level with these assistants than I am used to. They are all great and very knowledgeable. It's a pleasure working with them. White Wold Dental is an icredible place!! Here's the story. I had to have a crown replaced. I found out about 9 months ago and I couldn't do it then. Before the Covid pandemic I had the work done and had a temporary crown put in. Well, the first thing that suprised me is the quote they gave me almost a year ago was the same. I was happy to know the price didn't go up. Second of all, I had some filling that was way down into my gum from this old crown work I had. Dr. Kulaga painstakingly took all of that old filling material out without causing any damage to my gums or tooth. It took him quite a while and because I am so confident in his work and because I trust him, while he was working I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep!! Well, then the pandemic came around and I couldn't get my permanent crown in. The girls up front assured me they would let me know as soon as it was safe for me to come in and that they were only working on emergencies at that time. Well, I finally got the call and mind you that temporary crown never even loosened after all that time. Everything in my mouth was just fine. So Dr. Abrahams was there to put in my permanent crown. It needed some fitting and the whole time they worked on it I almost fell asleep again. They hygienist is fabulous! Very gentle but thorough and has so much information on keeping your mouth clean. The girls up front are always really helpful for appointments and working with your schedule and payment. They are all very nice and very competent and actually call you back when they say they will which I find very refreshing these days when many people DO NOT DO/KNOW their job!!
