I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). I return here for the location only, but I wish for a more consistently cordial (if not friendly) and efficient experience.

Disparate from other Walgreens that I am familiar with in major tourist centers, this location is underwhelming for alcohol and souvenirs. With regards to this review, I am using "The Daniel. S Yelp Real Time Feature" where I write from my first-hand journaling experience. "June 24, 2025: We are bound for Walgreens. Walking through the Assembly Food Hall we cut off some of the uphill climb up John Lewis Way that is bothering Dad's knees. Now walking up John Lewis Way we are passing by the historic Woolworth Theater and what looks like a Theater District. At the crest of the hill, we step inside the only downtown Nashville Walgreens. At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco,and Denver. Their Nashville caps are overpriced and fail to strike me. They fail to carry the bullet beer (24 ounce cans) that I want to pick up for the hotel room. However, they have cold beverages and snacks that my Dad and Brother are buying. I am headed to Starbucks for my beverage. Toi, who rings up my Dad and Brother, is a friendly and personable Cashier. When we return to the what looks like a Theater District along John Lewis Way, being empty handed of purchases allows me to photograph the Woolworth Theater." I have made multiple appointments over the course of two years at the walk-in clinic section of this specific Walgreens, for different vaccine shots. I made my appointments online, filled out my paperwork (digitally), and selected my time and requested service. The majority of the time when I then showed up for the appointment, the staff in the pharmacy had no idea who I was or why I was there. I always had to fill out the paperwork again. But worse, on many of those occassions I was told the shot wasn't available at all--this happened for different vaccines (a Hep series, a COVID booster, etc.). Why I was allowed to select that vaccine and that time when they didn't have it in stock makes no sense. I understand their stock may be in short supply or running late, but if I make an appointment more than a week in advance for a service your website says is available then take time out of my work day to make my appointment only to be told I need to go home and try again by phone on a future date? At minimum, a text alert or call to let me know I needed to reschedule before the time of my scheduled appointment would be greatly appreciated. The automated system usually texts and emails me 3x+ to remind me, can it not tell me to reschedule? The staff either doesn't have access to their online scheduling and information system or they don't check. On a day I was actually able to get the shot I showed up for, it took another 30 minutes because they had to fill out everything I'd already done online and figure out how to "schedule" a vaccine. I've also gotten stuck on a phone alert from this location telling me a non-existant refill (e.g. a refill for something I don't have a refill for) is available. Note--I went to another Walgreens less than a 20 minute drive from this one, in Nashville, a day after I was unable to get a shot here and having completed the paperwork online and selected a time, I arrived--they printed my forms out, had me sign once, then gave me my requested shot. The wait at the pharmacy drive-thru was minimal, and the pleasant pharmacy employee walked me through the whole procedure with grace and good humor. Within two hours the results were emailed to me. There was no charge for anything during the process. I'm not sure there has ever been an experience more deserving of a five star review.

I am a frequent supporter of the other big pharmacy brand, but swing in Walgreens when the need aligns with convenience, which is normally this location. My latest visit was after a PT appointment in search of some tape and braces for my elbow. I found what I was after tape wise, and while they had a brace, it was a bit pricier than I was willing to spend. The store, interior and exterior, could use some TLC conditionally. Inside was clean, but the parking lot needs some attention. Service is okay. I wouldn't classify it as friendly, but neither rude. Somewhere along the lines of "meh". Overall, this location is a choice out of convenience. When needed, I don't mind swinging by.

This store has everything you need. Fake nails? Yep. Shampoo? Sure. Advil? Yes. Sugar-free candy? Definitely. I was in the hair care section. There were two women getting hair dye. One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! Very friendly, helpful and caring of their customers. A gem to find while staying with family for a bit. Highly recommend!

Walgreens would not let me fill it one month at a time. Walmart had no issue with doing this. Instead of paying $60+ at Walgreens since they couldn't fulfill it one month at a time, my insurance now covers it 100% and I pay $0.00 since Walmart was so nice and can do it one month at a time. Sticking here for my prescriptions!
