Now having lived in Kalispell for almost a year, it doesn't bother me. It keeps me from shopping too much and the few stores I like here I am able to get into and out of the mall in a very short amount of time. Which is something I was not able to do before so yay! Theres a Rue 21 (basically forever 21 but smaller), Bath and Body Works, Vape Depot, Payless Shoes, Herbergers, JC Pennys, Maurices, Zumies, Buckle, Claires, Wakefields Beauty Supply... some other places that I can't think of right now. I got spoiled being used to such huge malls with endless amounts of stores but I like having limited options now. It is never hard for me to go in and get something and leave within the same hour. That would have been a struggle or me in California.

You get the occasional mall‑walker doing laps, and the background music is turned up just enough to make the emptiness feel more pronounced. A handful of national retailers are still hanging on, plus some local one‑offs, but the overall energy is subdued. The food court is basically symbolic at this point--two spots on paper, one that looks like it closed ages ago, and the other not open (and possibly not operating at all). It's hard to tell where the line is between "temporarily closed" and "just a relic." On the positive side, it's clean, safe, and easy to navigate. If you're staying nearby, it's a convenient indoor loop for walking, and there are still a few functioning stores. But as a shopping destination, it's running on nostalgia more than actual retail momentum.

Those that don't usually have a sign that say no animals. This store does not have any such sign and I decided to bring my dog in with me just to look around. He's very well behaved and was on a leash. The lady at the front counter did give me a greeting as I came in but said nothing about my dog or any no pet policy. After I passed her and was no more than 15 feet into the store, I heard her ask her coworker, quit loudly enough so that I could hear, " What happened to our no pet signs that used to be out front?" Why be so caddy to make comments behind my back instead of just telling me I'd sorry we don't allow dogs in the store? I would have gladly returned my dog to my truck and come back in for my purchases, instead I just took my dog and we left.

I was trying to reach a 2-liter soda bottle, and used the (sometimes) provided soda stick to pull the product forward, which fell at an odd angle atop the top shelf. Having struggled with trying to position it better, surrounded by more than one employee in the aisle, I expected someone to offer assistance, but found none. So, I stepped on the bottom shelf to reach and snatch the bottle myself, visibly frustrated. After walking away with the bottle in hand, an employee spoke up aggressively and said "Hey, you! Don't do that again." to which I responded "Oh, I just couldn't reach it! Sorry." And he said, "We have ladders for that." I didn't reply after that and continued on. It was a brief and unpleasant interaction, not something I'm used to seeing but it was uncalled for nonetheless. My issue with this really comes down to: 1) An employee should offer assistance. A customer shouldn't always have to ask when they are visibly struggling, that should be a trained reaction as a Wal-Mart associate. 2) If they cannot provide assistance, then ladders should be within the aisle that can be used when product isn't within grasp. 3) Finally, what irks me is that this product should have been refaced (brought to the front and in reach) throughout the night of restocking to begin with. Fronting product should be priority one! A customer should never not have easy access to it. That's all! Hopefully this isn't something that needs repeated in the future, but it's also not the first time I've seen the beverages improperly shelved anyway.

Target is alway neat and the merchandise is of better quality than some other big box stores. They carry a certain dog chewer that our dogs only like, and when caught on sale I stock up. Their pet department is awesome and I love their pajamas department too!! I used to only buy all my household products here until an online supplier makes it easier to have shipped straight to our door no shipping cost. This is a clean well organized store that I could shop in here for hours. Love their signature line too. Buying their generic brands are really great products. So if you're a target junkie, this is a great store to visit.

I could get lost for hours at Murdochs. They have a great selection of pet food and are happy to advise. I also ended up buying garden tools & clothes. They even have kids toys. I couldn't believe seeing toy chain saws, one in standard yellow & one in pInk! :-) I love Montana! Staff are super helpful & friendly. They also have fresh pet vaccines, which I had never knew you could buy at a store & administer to your pet. This is now my go-to store for so many things I need for living in the last best place...

The store is always clean and organized as some others I've been in are not. Staff is very friendly very helpful lines never seem to be too long at check out. They have someone at the front door sanitizing carts offer hand sanitizer and masks. But all in all this is a very nice TJ Maxx and frequent it often.
