Don't visit the Flathead Valley in the summer without going to at least one. The talent that the ATP imports every summer, for our benefit, is amazing. Also, kudos to the hardworking local volunteers who raised millions to renovate the Central School Auditorium where Alpine Theatre Project resides. The theatre is wonderful and I love the art deco touches.

I heard the casting guy or guy who runs it is from LA which makes sense to me. I have been to a lot of theater in NYC London Boston and I will say this little theater gives better performances and often the cast are young and starting out which is cool. Plus it is nice to have something a bit high brow to do I mean the rodeos and dive bars in the area are a blast but this is great when you need to feel a bit more civilized

Cooked smashed style, they had nice crispy edges. Watermelon was fresh and juicy. Fries were crispy. Great dinner. While the food is good, the music was even better. It was a solo guitarist who sang classic country. He was great. Many were sending up tips with a request and he did a great job of being able to handle most requests. I appreciated the ease of online ticket purchase. It was also straightforward to show up with the scannable ticket on my phone for entry; no dead trees required. The venue itself was generously air conditioned, the seats were spacious and comfortable, and I didn't have to wait in line to use the restroom during intermission. Find me any musical in NYC that can boast the same and I will be shocked and awed. From what I could ascertain from our program (purchased for a $5 donation), many of the performers are actively in school studying musical theater or adjacent majors. Broadly, the cast was quite young, but demonstrate promise. Admittedly, I wasn't wowed by the vocals, but I'll also acknowledge that everyone in the production sang better than I could. Both costuming and choreography were better than I anticipated. If you find yourself in the area during the summer, get yourself to a show at the Bigfork Center for Performing Arts. There's a production for everyone and--at a very reasonable ~$40 a ticket--it's a cute, easy option for a date or family night out.

The place is clean, you never wait in line, the tickets are the least expensive you will find anywhere. Contrary to other older reviews they DO take credit cards. Concessions are also much cheaper than in Kalispell. Sometimes you have the place all to your self. Tuesdays there is free popcorn. They don't have 3D, but I really don't like 3D.
