It was the worst tubing experience I have ever had. And all of this was after they stopped in the middle of the road and told us to get out and climb over the guard rail and walk down the embankment where we got on the river in a very small spot. Two of our people fell down this embankment trying get to the river. They need to check the river before sending people out on it. A little customer service can go a long way.

It gets packed often because of the location to Lansing and Saginaw. During July, you really need to RSVP early. We have been here a few times. You can have kids, but in some areas it's deep. I came here one time and lost my shoe and iPhone because we got stuck on a rock. Watch out for big rocks and low water levels. These two combinations can make your canoe stuck. Highly Recommended

When we arrived, the woman selling the tickets was genuinely friendly and interested in our dog. I love that this is a dog-friendly activity and that always gets extra bonus points with me. She asked our dog's name and answered all our questions and when we saw her hours later walking around the town she called out to our dog by name and said hello. It was very sweet and just one example of the warm welcoming spirit of this city. The cruise itself was very calm and slow. Just a smooth ride down the Cass River and back. There's lots of time to take in the scenery and you learn a lot. The gentleman narrating our tour was knowledgeable and had a great voice on the microphone. I actually thought it was a recording for the first few minutes, but he introduced himself and explained that his son was the boat captain. He shared the history of Frankenmuth and the surrounding area and when he tells you the popcorn they sell on board is the best you'll ever have, he's not lying. The popcorn was the surprise star of this cruise! For only $2 you get this bag of fresh salty delicious popcorn and they actually encourage you to toss some to the ducks on the river. It was really fun watching them Rush up to the boat and watching the children laughing and enjoying themselves. I love popcorn though so unfortunately the ducks had to share with me because it was definitely the best $2 popcorn I've ever had! This is a must if you're in Frankenmuth and I'm so glad we got to experience it. We had such a nice time that we bought some souvenirs on our way off the boat, including a little Captain's hat for my husband to match the one we had for our pup already. We left the dock with a small (way too small pontoon) weak pontoon. After realizing this, we returned to the harbor to get a different boat. They put us in a 40hp beat up pontoon with jagged sheet metal sticking out from two different locations, my brother-in-law suffered a cut on his leg from one of these places. Of course this boat was wayyyyyy underpowered, so back to the harbor. This time the owner Gary denied any knowledge about our desire to tube and blamed the "miscommunication " on my wife. Bullshit. Then they put us in a better 90 hp pontoon for $200 dollars more. So now we are in 500, day half over, and still couldn't tube. And of course then it rained. Don't rent here. Their boats are crap and there is no customer service.

We showed up at 8:30 and no one was around. Gary finally pulled in after 10:00. I knew immediately this guy is not to be trusted. I reserved a 100HP and he tried lining us up with a 40HP. Ok. Then I tried to pay him with our credit card and it got declined then tried another card...declined. Ok? I called credit card company a d they said no transaction was attempted. WTH? At that point I told Gary Im outta here! Gee wiz Gary! You run a shitty business and seem a wee-bit shady! We went to Houghton Lake Marina on the north side of lake and are out on the lake now with one of their pontoons!

He is also a rider and very knowledgeable of all the brands they sell. They have a pretty good selection of SkiDoo and Polaris sleds on display so you can see all the different features. After the purchase they introduce you to the service and parts people and I also got a great demonstration on how all the new goodies work. These new sleds are just as hi-tech as cars these days! As much as new toys cost now it's nice to deal with a company that appreciates your business. There is a reason they've stayed in business for so long.

Per Jessie, "we do not put coolant or oil in the jet skis." So---we asked, "What are we paying $400 for?" His response, "we just check the fluids." He didn't tell us the results either. So apparently they were low but we didn't get the report. So when our jet ski ran out of oil he blamed us cause "we don't put oil in the ski, we just check the levels." For $400, I could get my 16 year old to do that...and replace the oil. Something is sketchy about this place.
