We have always received good care here. This is the only dental office our son has known and he enjoys going to his dental visits so that says something. My only complaint is how booked out they always are. We always try to schedule our appointments in advance, but life happens and when you schedule an appointment three or four months out, things might come up in the interim. This has happened to us a couple of times and they literally never have anything available for months and months out if we need to reschedule an appointment. Very frustrating. read more

Best experience I have had with a dentist in a long time. Everything is comfortable and there are no judgements or pressure. I've been in for X-rays, cleaning and treatment. Office staff is totally professional and the dentist was great. I seriously almost felt nothing. Nitrous mask is awesome too ( especially for people to get anxiety at the dentist ) $35 1 time purchase and I can just bring it in and use it for my appointments. I am surprised by the 5 star rating. Maybe because too many people like me don't usually bother with sharing their poor experiences - they simply move on. I was referred by a neighbor in my new senior community here in Reno. Made appointments for my husband and I back in October 2022 for cleaning in late February 2023. It was by chance when zi called in February to see if there were cancellations so we could b seen do we, that we learned this practitioner no over took my husband's insurance. You would think when we scheduled our appointment in October this office would have known they were unlikely to renew with Liberty Dental. 4 wasted months waiting and now he had to start the process of finding a dentist and being scheduled out many months. Annoying yes. Disappointing yes. Frustrating yes. But here is what told me this was not a place of an honest practitioner. . This practice runs a scam operation- they upsell you on unnecessary treatment. And without my permission subjected me to panoramic photos and individual digital photos of each tooth taken by a pen camera. I had only agreed to 4 bitewing x-rays. Their new patient form had a section asking "What would you like to change i. your smile?" So zit became clear that they were grooming me to go a sakes job - on cosmetic treatment. To my surprise the hygienist did gum pocket measurements with numbers far greater and numerous than ever before by my prior California UCSF trained father and son team dentists of more than 20 years caring for my teeth. Whites Creek dentist and hygienist teamed up to try to pressure me into costly deep periodontal cleaning that per their treatment plan would be required 8 times each year for LIFE!! I declined for this appointment saying it was something for discussion with my husband . They refused to do at any time standard cleaning and sSud even if they would my 1 hour appointment time was up. They used up that time with unneeded and work i did not agree to. ... After consulting with both my long-time California dentist and a lot of work locating a general dentist in Northern Nevada that doesn't focus on costly cosmetic add in services, I obtained not only a second but a third opinion that both agreed- White Creek dental evaluation was flawed snd out of line with my a tusk dental health- am not in need of deep periodontal cleaning and do not have periodontal disease.... Please, if Whites Creek or any dentist makes a treatment plan recommendation that seems unudusl, unexpected or simply too costly - get a 2nd opinion form a practice that predominantly focuses on dental health and is not focused on cosmetic dentistry. The latter is what pays out more money to pay for those fancy offices.... You want a dentist that isn't looking out first to line their pockets with $$$. My husband and I (due to different insurances) are pleased with the dentist we ultimately have joined- me with Paul Hardman DMD in Carson City, and my husband with Dr Choi of Smile Dentistry (in south Reno). BTW - Did you know a less thsn ethical hygienist and dentist can easily skew your gum pocket analysis by the way they depress the tool they use to to this? WhiteCreek called out ten 5s (the worst number); I previously had no 5s, and all my #3s I consistently had for years suddenly all became #4s. Be careful. It is well worth the small extra out of pocket expense to get a second opinion. read more

White Creek Dental from the start was a great experience.  The lobby area is nice and clean, the front desk girl greeted me with a big smile and made me feel welcomed. Happy to call Dr. Yeong Kim my new dentist! Best Dental Care's comfortable, state-of-the-art office is located in SW Reno with a great staff. His assistant Jonathan, and Ken at the front desk were friendly, efficient, and together they made a trip to the dentist a really nice experience. I found Dr. Kim via Living Social and while a bit skeptical, figured it was just a cleaning and x-rays so gave them a try. So glad I did. The last time I saw a dentist for the same reasons, I left with a very long and costly list of work that was "strongly recommended as soon as possible" (which I never did). I was long overdue for a trip to the dentist when I visited Dr. Kim today and surprise...he found no major issues, no "urgent" work needed at all...just one small thing (replace a filling) with no pressure at all to schedule. The cleaning and x-rays took far less time than with my previous dentist, with no discomfort, and great results. The experience was night and day. BTW, the quote for the filling was another nice surprise. Thanks to the wonderful service and reasonable rates, I've already scheduled that next appointment. Highly recommend! read more
