In the old days of real retail, the store manager was on the floor meet greet and direct not here. Sadly I will take my money elsewhere.

Now that it is out of warranty, the say it is a $5000 repair, and they are willing to pay $2000 of it. A quick google search shows that it is a common problem- fuel injectors failing near the end of warranty. And the manufacturer and dealer work to delay repairs and muddy the warranty process. These Massey Ferguson tractors continue to decline in quality and reliability and value each year. It seems the dealers must focus on damage control to keep costs down. Replacing the low quality, commonly faulty injectors is very expensive (they quoted me $3900 for just the parts.)

They were proactive about calling me back, came to pick it up the day after I called, only charged me $35 for transport, and had it finished and in my driveway in time to mow the following weekend. It was covered in slush and road salt, Customer service offered no remedy and a weak apology. It seems they could have covered it or waited till spring to bring back. Also, we recently called customer service because the brake handle broke off. After no response after several hours we contact the main office. We were told it would take several weeks before service we could get it serviced. When the Cazenovia NY location was locally owned we had excellent service.
