Prior to painting, a sheetrock craftsman provided the referral for David Perez. In short, David and his crew were nothing short of, spectacular. They worked hard and consistently for 5 days in a row. Their preparation was meticulous. And the final product was perfection. Painting included 2 coats of paint for all ceilings, walls, baseboards, trim, all kitchen cabinets and the entire garage. They were attentive to details for any concerns I had. They were also a pleasure and fun to work with throughout the entire process. We hired Susanna and her crew to paint the interior of our home. She did an absolutely amazing job. I could tell from the moment we met her that she cared about the quality of her work. She and her crew were meticulous and careful throughout the job. On the final day of the job they cleaned thoroughly and did "touch up." Sussanna made sure there wasn't an errant drop of paint to be found or an inch of wall space missed. She made sure everything blended perfectly. Her work was perfect. Her price was VERY reasonable for what we got and I couldn't have asked for better quality work. It's like we've moved into a new home. I would hire her again in a heartbeat without even considering other options.

My husband tried to follow up via phone and text, but received no response aside from the sound of crickets. Honestly, if you're going to operate a small, independent business, you still need to have customer service skills and integrity. Buying a home and requiring a full interior and exterior paint job is pretty significant, and now that we have hired another company for close to 10k, Chromatic lost out. I'm not sure what the issue is with the lack of integrity, but it's disappointing because Susanna's work looks incredible from the photos on yelp. We are bummed we did not have the chance to see her work. Save your time and look to other five-star painting companies that respond promptly and provide much more professionalism.

Unfortunately this came to a startling halt. When we made the decision on our colors it was made very clear that we wanted Dunn Edwards. This was very well known and samples for provided to us in the large block samples. Since things are pretty busy out there, Robin asked if we would not mind giving those back once work began as they may need them for other customers at some point. We didn't think anything of it and so we offered to give those back. Looking back we really wish we had never done that. You'll find out why. We went through the process of getting our colors approved. Colors requested were approved through HOA to be Dunn Edwards. We set the date for our paint to get done. We were super excited as this was a big purchase for us on our home that we plan to stay in to retire in. We've never done a big purchase like this on a home that we have owned since we got married. So as you can expect this is pretty exciting for us. So starts the process, and make it busy doing the patchwork and getting prepared to put the paint on. We were never informed of any need to substitute to an alternate brand, in other words to color match. Two of the four colors are not terrible, but not 100%.The other two are completely wrong. We tried to address this, but had no resolve. They made the choice to proceed with color matching outside of the brand chosen, and won't take responsibility for the fact that they didn't come close to matching at all. Yet, they want payment in full. They never cleared the alternative brand with us, and just tried to pull a fast one on us, hoping we wouldn't notice. Well, we noticed. Sherwin Williams doesn't equal Dunn Edwards. Not even close. Such a shame.
