I contacted Ivan in early January to get quotes on the interior and exterior painting of my home. Ivan was responsive in setting up a time to meet answer review the projects. I had a very reasonable quote sent to me within a few days. Ivan was exceedingly patient with me over the next two months. We changed the project up a few times and even cancelled the interior project at one point (not because of Ivan but because of another shady contractor). I contacted Ivan again in mid-February and we got back on his schedule. Painting day came and a veritable fleet of painters descended upon our house. They taped off and covered everything (we'd moved all furniture to the middle of the room) and it took them about 9 hours to do our entire downstairs (two story open floor plan) and upstairs loft. The master bedroom and bath done on the 2nd day. The attention to detail by the crew is outstanding. They are professionals and know what they're doing. The entire team are great guys and it's wonderful to see that they are a family business. His workers were very courteous, cleaned up after, and helped move patio furniture, and then put it back. May 2024. I read the Yahoo reviews of various painting companies in the Peoria, Az. vicinity. I had three companies give me estimates for the paint job on my house. Finish Coat Painting gave me a fair quote and then gave me a Senior's discount of $200.00 when I asked for it. I made modifications to the scope of the work to be performed and added in my R/V gate (metal parts only) and the cost to add it was good. The house was power washed on Thursday and the painting crew arrived and began the painting work on Friday in the early A.M. Ivan, the owner, had met with us a few days prior to show us samples of the paint that he had color matched at Sherwin Williams. It was perfect. On Saturday, early morning, the crew returned and completed the work. I should add that this involved re-taping my patio ceiling drywall as well as painting it. Ivan also repaired a couple small places where the front entrance ceiling had loose tape as well. When the painting was done, the crew cleaned up everything and left me the remaining paint in case I'd ever need to touch up anything. I paid Ivan by check because there is a 3% charge to use a credit card. So Ivan and his brother Victor did a great job and we're very happy with it. They went out of their way to make everything look super and understood all of my concerns and desires to make the house look like new again. Kudos to Finish Coat Painting. We moved into our new place, and there was one floor that really needed a paint "freshen up", in addition to the people moving out left a few things screwed into the walls that needed to be removed. I put out a few quote requests thru Yelp for painting crews. The pricing difference was a bit crazy for the same detail (including pictures). Anyway, Ivan was SUPER responsive, asked great questions, and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. He was specific with the patches that needed to be made as well as paint color, furniture being moved, etc. We settled on the details and scheduled the job. He texted me prior to ensure that we were still a "go" the day before (which I appreciated). He also let me know right on time, that he was at the paint store and arrived exactly 15 mins later. They taped/prepped the area, moving furniture, paintings, etc. and got to work. They worked quietly, but quickly and now my room looks amazing!
