Whether they were behind the counter or driving a forklift and even the truck drivers (big rigs) all helped load our vehicle. We got 4 -1/2 tons of quartzite flagstone and I lost count of all the Utah Green rocks we got. Also, a jade bench and another bench. Bird bath, fire glass as well as the pebble to put between the flagstone. My wife gets excited every time we go there like a kid in the candy store! Our neighborhood has watched every step of the way in our front yard makeover. They love it as much as we do. called up Whitewater Rock about broken old fireplace doors, they are apparently obsolete doors. Whitewater Rock was professional and polite, looked around their old inventory, drove me in a golf cart to check out the doors in stock, and gave me a great deal all around... i only needed a roller but they also need to sell the entire door so it was a win for both of us. He drove us to the location where we were able to make the rock and Boulder selections and tag them. He also shared with me a mutual passion for bonsai trees. Located just a few miles from Palm Springs,this mecca for all things rock, is a must visit. They have acres and acres worth of material. They even have another area they can take you too to look at different types of rocks and stones and you can even see where their quarry is, which is like the entire mountain side!!! They have so many options here. From small rocks, to medium size, to half a ton, to a ton, to even 5 ton rocks. As well as so many other things that would add a nice unique touch to your outdoor space. The people who work here are nice. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they have in stock as well as color combinations and pricing. I took a ride to their other location which is on the other side of the street and the gentleman spent a good 30 minutes driving me to diferent parts of the property to look at different rocks and stones. He was extremely helpful. Too bad I forgot his name. The pricing here too is cheap!!! Its about 7 cents a pound, which compared to the local nurseries and landscape places, close to my house, it can be about 28 cents per pound. So you really cant beat the prices here. Unfortunately for transport though it comes out to about $500 from white water to rancho cucamonga (60 miles) which is rediculous. Then again they are driving 120 miles round trip, carrying however many tons of material. So I gues its fair. And they bring their own bobcats to unload, I believe its $90/hour for them to drop them where you want them to go. And if its over 2.25 tons per boulder then you have to have your own crane there ready to unload their trucks. But having an approximately 4000 square foot front yard. Even an 800 lb honey quartz rock looks pretty nice. Even though I didn't end up buying any rocks from here, due to logistics. This place truly is a gem in the middle of nowhere. Great quality, lots of choices, and extremely cheap considering how much of a centerpeice they can add to your yard. read more

We have been to every rock quarry in the low and high desert and this is the best. Located off the I-10 you can see it from the freeway. We graveled our entire backyard with this hard to find gravel for our desert home. We've visited about 6-8 times and each time the guys are helpful and knowledgable. Whenever my husband and I would visit Palm Desert we would pass by Whitewater Rock and Supply and since our backyard is designed in an English rock design with rock flower beds, I always wanted to stop and check this place out. Well I finally got my chance over the past Memorial Day weekend and I can't say enough about this place, their selection is outstanding and their pricing is so reasonable. But what really impressed me was their customer service. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful and courteous and even though we only made a small purchase that day, they treated us like we were their top customer. My first time using Whitewater and VERY DISAPPOINTED. The delivery driver was great. Matt was nice. From here it goes down hill, I ordered 5 tons of river rocks 12 to 18 inch what I received was 3 huge boulders, possibly 2 tons of usable stone, and I would guess 2 tons of sand!!!! There was so much sand that it took 2 of us two hours to sort the rocks out of the sand and remove the sand that should not have been in there in the first place. I also ordered 4 tons of 3/4 in. palm springs gold gravel, It is almost half sand! This is absolutely unexceptable, they either do not care or they are purposely weighting the product with sand because they sell by the ton. I most definitely paid for more sand than the stone I needed. Not only did I get cheated by the sand content but the work involved with removing the sand from the gravel and the stone is just not worth it. They truly do not care about the customer. I have dealt with several rock yards in the past and never have I had this issue. I gave them 2 stars and those are for the delivery driver. I would give 0 stars otherwise. read more

Went to this place to pick out a flagstone and stacked stone for our pool build. The prices are reasonable and the staff is a 10. The place is huge and they offered to drive my wife and I around on a golf cart. We declined because we wanted to look at every item they had...and it took us a long time. A huge Thank you to White Water Rock Supply for donating rocks to the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert. We have an ongoing safety project and with the donation of the rocks, we now have completed stage one of the project. We have had some safety issues with parents parking in the dirt lot and blocking the area where the school buses drop of our members. With our new barrier, it will allow our kids to arrive safely at the front door of the building and not be blocked out by other vehicles. read more

I went in there for a little bit of things. my project is just as important as a $2 million job. when you're treated with disrespect you don't go there and neither will I go there ever again. Bar none this is the place for Flagstone! Wow what a selection. So many beautiful flagstone choices it's hard to pick. Thankfully they have MARIO who is the most competent, knowledgeable, and just a super nice guy. While I was walking through their yard he checked several times to see if I had questions. Then after looking through so many choices he loaded me on the golf cart, drove me around, and helped me narrow my choices down. After visiting so many yards where no one wanted to brave the heat to help me this place was an Oasis. However it is very windy, dusty and warm. So wear tennis shoes and plan on a warm hike. Both the sales person and delivery driver were very friendly and helpful. Although delivery is done in a time window they tailored their service to meet my needs. They gave me a call when they were on their way so I could leave work and meet them instead of waiting at home.
