The cost is $69 plus $6.04 tax and $18.95 shipping -- $93.99 total. That's still under the $100 they offered me. If anything, this makes their excuses worse. Instead of taking responsibility and acting on their own, they never reached out again until I called them. Reading other reviews, I noticed a pattern: the owner's responses are often defensive, rude, and unprofessional. My experience matches that. What should have been a quick, honest fix turned into misleading claims and me having to do all the legwork they should have done. Roto-Rooter was a very disappointing experience. They advertised interest-free financing, but the…read morefinancing approval process was unnecessarily delayed due to issues between the financing company they referred me to and my application. I was told the delay was because they couldn't understand the pay period shown on my pay stub. The fun is they approved the financing without providing any additional documentation, so the whole purpose was delay the process to help Roto Rooter to charge the full payment. Also they offered the adjustment when financing was approved but never hear back from them. It was a rip off. Because the financing wasn't approved in time, I was pressured into paying the full amount upfront since Roto-Rooter said they couldn't wait for the financing to be completed. The entire process felt frustrating and misleading. After the work was completed, I obtained quotes from another plumbing company and learned that I had been charged nearly twice what the same root cleaning service would normally cost. Based on my experience, I would recommend getting multiple estimates before hiring Roto-Rooter and carefully reviewing any financing arrangements. I felt overcharged and would not use their services again.

Frankie came out and did lots of sleuthing to learn where all the system components were installled. He found a dead condenser which had a bunch of melted wires inside. He gave us a quote to repair it and another to replace it with the Trane. We got weak and had him try to repair it which Frankie spent hours to complete. Luckily, the repair failed and we got our new Trane installed by Timo's and for exactly the price I had expected.
