So deep down the contract it was buried a little clause saying that! There were no specific numbers like temperature or size of heater, it's just to their satisfaction, of course in our case, we did not satisfy "their requirements" when I ask them why the contract is in such loose terms, Indirectly it's to cover their behinds, so lesson learned! Beware of State Farm! On a secondary note, even if they were 100% right, they should also be a department that handles long time customers, like a one time forgiveness policy, we have been with them for decades and that's how they treat customers, it was only a $5000 claim, so what they lost is all future insurance from me, a bunch of my friends and families.... A stupid business decision on their end.
