You couldn't ask for more from Adam and his sign shop. Adam is a very personal person which is a great attribute for his awesome customer service. Adam has a great attention for detail and does everything possible to make sure the job is done right and the customer is happy. I look forward to doing future business with Adam and Iove the lettering he did for my company vehicle. Adam's communication throughout the design process for my advertising was amazing and I couldn't ask for more from a small business/business owner. Ps. I was in this establishment when the gentleman who wrote a bad review about this small business had his "experience". It's more than obvious that the man didn't give Adam a chance. There is no doubt he has a lack of sense of humor. I wouldn't want this gentleman as a customer or continue to give him the opportunity to deface small businesses in our community. She had a raised letter wood sign 9feet by 2 feet made for $400 . I just got off the phone with Jean and she quoted me $500 for a basic black vinyl sign. Highest robbery ! I am a small business owner in Auburn. I tried a couple different sign shops, from large sign shops in the Bay Area to franchise sign shops in Roseville, before finding Adams shop, Whitley and Sons Custom Signs. I am a devoted customer for the last 3 years. Over this time our businesses have grown together, and I've learned a lot about Adam and his shop. I have had street visible 8 foot x 4 foot banner signs, custom wood mounted signs, textured vinyl signs, custom business cards, custom stickers for marketing, employee custom t-shirts, custom letterhead, custom envelopes, as well as several small custom signs made for inside my business. Adam also tastefully placed vinyl sticker signs of my logo onto the windows and doors. Adam has even made me a beautiful barn door for me with my logo burned into the wood door. His prices arent the cheapest, but donyoubreally want cheap? I definitely could get cheap signs and low value elsewhere...but Adam gives Reasonable Prices for High Quality Signs!!! Adam was the apprentice and understudy for a Master Sign maker, the longtime original owner of this longtime Auburn establishment. Eventually Adam took over the shop, and he absolutely is seeking perfection in his sign work. A true artist mastering his craft, he is always striving to give me better built, high quality materials and more creative signs. He has designed logos for me for two different businesses, from drawing up the art to the tinkering and fine tuning of the colors in the logos. He was patient and to be exactly what we thought worked/looked best. Jean, Adam's sister, is also at the shop on most days. She is very kind and helpful, she runs the accounts and organization, as well as helping in expediting sign orders! Some days you may even see Adams sons working at the shop. This place, imo, is a Best of Auburn Business. When a locally owned small business, Whitley and Sons, helps another small business achieve success, my business, its a win win for everyone in Auburn. There isnt a job Adam hasnt taken on and done great work for me. I had some letters missing from our sign and needed a repair. My experience was great. Jean was helpful, her dog was super cute and playful. She had the letters done quickly. She called to let me know they were ready but with a busy business it was difficult to get in during business hours. I'm getting ready to leave work and there is Jean putting up my letters on my sign. She is awesome and so helpful. I have called other sign companies in the past that either didn't call me back or said they couldn't help. Not Whitley & Sons Custom Signs. I recently opened a new massage studio in downtown Auburn, and needless to say was overwhelmed with details getting everything ready. I contracted Whitley & Sons to make 3 signs for me. I was inexperienced and unsure what I needed, and they were very helpful and designed the signs on the spot, making sure everything was as I wanted. After I opened I saw a change I wanted on one of the signs, and called Adam. He said he would fix it right away if I brought the sign in. I got busy with the holidays and forgot about the issue, and then I noticed the other day that the changes had been made! I was honestly stunned!
