DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! They would have no stars! This place has false advertising! I ordered flowers on Friday to be delivered for Tuesday. When I never received a call from my friend I called the place and they didn't even have my order! I have my card and all! The lady just messed up a special day for my bff I wanted her to have at work! Then she lied and said they were delivered around 1 and they were delivered after 4pm when my bff was gone! The pics are phony! U think you're ordering one thing and ordering slip thrown together! She never apologized either! Robert is the BEST family owned business florist in the WORLD! I reside near San Francisco, CA and he has been creating silk flowers for my deceased mom grave for over 5 years every BDay and death anniversary of me mom to include a major holiday! This is sales 4-5 times a year! I order from California and he even drives to the cemetery and places the flowers on my mom's grave in her vase plus he sweeps the grave site so that's it's shiny and clean. This is such a BLESSING to me since I can't get to Mississippi to see my mom's grave like I'd want but Robert brings me that much closer to her! I read the 1 and 2 star reviews which are not an adequate representation of this florist or Robert. It's because people can be rotten and self-absorbed wishing the world would evolve around them;" What's even more special is one day Robert was on an urgent delivery and his wife (Joan) went out to my mom's grave and put the flowers. Then she was nice enough to tell me that ants were encroaching on my mom's grave. This alerted me to get ant scary out there asap! ALL OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI should be using Robert (Whitley) Florist! He's so creative! Also he's a child of the 60's hippie era and a no-nonsense business guy with a quirky personality, not rude at ALL! When I do visit the area, I take Robert and his wife out to dinner. I ordered a plant for my Uncle's funeral. When I arrived at the funeral home for the viewing. I found the plant has not been delivered. When I called Mr. Whitley, I was told it had indeed been delivered at 11:30 and signed for by Ms. Miller. In questioning the funeral home and with Ms. Miller help we were able to determine that the plant had not been delivered as stated by Mr. Whitley. When I advised him this was unacceptable, his response was Did I want to cancel the order. Under the circumstances I went through I would not recommend this florist to anyone. read more

I placed an order with Whitley's on Wednesday night for a delivery today (Friday). It is for my niece who graduates from high school tonight. Their prices and selection were ok, not the best. But they were at least local to the Jackson metro area which made me feel somewhat more comfortable with ordering online. I selected a bouquet of flowers for her with balloons. The flowers were delivered earlier today, as planned, but the balloons were not included. Not a big deal, I thought. I can just give them a call and they can credit me the $6+tax for that portion of the order. Well.... that is proving to be more difficult than I'd imagined. First of all, their phone line has been busy for the better part of the last hour. When I finally got through, I spoke to a gentleman and told him about the missing balloons. He placed me on hold to check on the order. That was about 15 minutes ago and counting. I am still waiting......... And waiting..... I can hear other voices in the background. I am not sure if he forgot about their caller, but this is rather annoying. I'll give it a few minutes more (since I have a patient checking in for an appointment with me soon) and if there is no resolution, I will take it up with bank/debit card and just dispute + reissue the charge. That would be faster at this point. Probably won't order from them again. read more

I'm sure they are not allowed to say that there web site is probably managed by a large floral company and they subscribe to their service. I'm sure they have little control over the spam. I live in Florida and my brother was hospitalized in Jackson, MS. I ordered a plant garden with balloons from Whitley's to help cheer him up. I did not get to see the plant but my brother just loved it and said it was absolutely beautiful!!! My aunt and uncle live out of town and sent flowers to my mother-in-law in the nursing home using Whitley's. When they arrived it looked as though they had used flowers at the end of their life cycle. Our suspicion was right as they died within the first 24 hours. Because my aunt and uncle live out of town they couldn't see the flowers that were delivered, but they should have been able to count on better quality than that for the money they spent. Perhaps if you were ordering flowers over the phone, you would be fine, but DO NOT order online or give your email if you do not want to endure months and months (perhaps years!) of pesky emails that arrive almost daily! I ordered flowers online on June 10, 2014 for my niece who lives in Jackson. the flowers were fine and greatly appreciated by my niece. What is NOT appreciated is all the time I have spent over the last 8 months unsubscribing to the damn site. It says that it may take a few weeks to update the list, but the emails keep coming after probably 20 attempts to unsubscribe over the past 8 months. read more

Called midday from another state and asked the man who answered the phone to make a modest arrangement sensitive to a patient getting breathing treatments for COPD at St. Dominic's Hospital, left it up to his artistry and not a pre-made design. Got same day delivery, actually just a couple hours later, hand delivered by the same man (owner?) and he expressed his wishes for good health to my Grandma himself and personally made sure the bouquet was good for her. Got a cell phone pic sent to me right away of a gorgeous array of flowers from a tickled Grandma...THANK YOU!!
